It would be interesting to get the low down on how the factory bikes stack up against each other.  I’d guess the 250’s are all pretty close.  I don’t know if that’s the case with 450’s.  Those red bikes seem to hook up.  Be interesting to see where Triumph and Beta compare to Jap and Austrian factory bikes.

The fact you think the 250's are all pretty close is a wild take and pretty much means your knowledge of the sport is lacking man.

Also, the bedbugs crying cheater is an even more wild take, as their boy is literally a documented cheater going back to the 50cc days.

I don't think he's cheating now, Thunder Valley excluded, so don't get all bent about it. I'm just saying the casual Deegan-introduced fans are so disconnected from the history of the sport it's insane.

That being said, those freestyle lines in the first moto worked out well, because that was wildly impressive.

Noticing similar comments/posts on social media recently (from the useless, AI bot written re-posting type 'moto journalists') ... and watching the mouth breathers come out of the woodwork. Unbelievable that all of a sudden, the Lawrences are riding and winning the way they are, 'because the HRC 450 is soooo much better than Star's 450!'- it shows how little the average fan knows (or cares to know).

Absolutely, Team Lawrence have a great understanding of chassis torque, riding style, and associated bike setup, to maximise efficiency and reduce fatigue in every area, equalling more speed! But this is all part of being a great rider, and why they are a step above everyone else in AMA 450 at the moment.

The 'cope' creeping in that Deegan's Star 450 is somehow a slow bike comparatively, is ridiculous. It's the operator!

A few months ago, by this logic - the field should've switched to Suzuki 450's.

Rant over...

Part of ending up with the result of a great bike, comes down to rider feedback. One part of a complex equation.

At one end of the spectrum. The bad end. Riders bitching and blaming the bike.

At the other: understanding what the bike’s doing, and what you need it to do, and communicating this to a clever and motivated team.

It’s even funnier of a cope when you remember Star has years of Tomac era R&D. If Deegan wanted a fire breathing monster I guarantee you they’d be able to give it to him.

Give em a few weeks on each others bikes and I'd bet my house the results are the same.

Isn't it true that Honda went from internal factory ECU to having a Twisted developed setup without any degradation in performance? That would imply that it isn't Voodoo nor a development staff nobody else can afford.

Downvoting dumbasses🙄. Lawrence’s are talented. JL is exceptional, HL is good. The Honda IS exceptional and would likely dominate 250’’s and 450’s if it weren’t for injuries. The Lawrence’s have had book-oodles of time to help develop it.
