I'm thinking of going to Daytona for bike week.... Are there any mx tracks you can turn up to and hire bikes and ride?

If not...
I seen a site www.destinationmx.com but it is quite dear are they any similar things like this. i know there are quite a few in CAli but have not heard of many in Florida

I have not heard of any rental MX companies here in Central (or anywhere) Florida.

This guy rents KTM's for Hare Scrambles and MX races in the Florida Trail Riders series. When you get over here, get in contact with them, I bet they'll work something out with you!

Wow. This is good stuff, I'm often in Florida during the winter, but never with a bike. I've looked EVERYWHERE to find some type of rental place. I don't think these places were around even last winter?

mccread, I assume you've never been to BikeWeek? It is insane. Traffic & travel times are not predictable. Could take you an hour or two just to get out of Daytona and onto the interstate toward Miami. The MXoN crowd is like a local town race compared to Bike Week. I've only been once and we stayed in N.E. Orlando and drove up Thurs-Sun ... took us up to 2 hrs to get into Daytona each time. Find someone that has been a bunch of times and get all the tips ... I'm not the one, but just wanted to prepare you a bit.

thanks no havent been yet, looking into flights at the minute but looks like a good week and I get to see RC v Reed and Bubba if none of them are hurt of course at.. Daytona!

I don't know about Dirt bike rentals....but there are plenty of places to rent Honda sprees and those type of street scooters all
around the beaches.
Some advice I can give you though is.... do not take them to skate parks and air them out....they tend to break into pieces. Smile

Hey Robert, I believe I saw you again at Thundercross a week or two ago. I recommended you to MCcread after meeting you at Seminole a few times. I have seen people very happy to deal with Mr. Guzman. He has well maintained bikes and clearly loves the sport and it is quite rare to have bikes available at a track for people to rent. I believe he will also deliver the bikes to your track of choice and he and his family ride as well.

Yeah Roberts a good guy, he has a great set up and is always out supporting the sport.
