give me a break, 270 Million non-eligible voters?

What is the population of the usa, 330 million total? deduct minors, felons, and undocumenteds and there are not 270 million ELIGIBLE voters. 

With all the people that feel voting is a waste of time, it is way below that.

I have no plans to fly anywhere anytime soon, I do not plan to travel outside the country, and nobody is going to suspect I am an illegal alien, and if we don't get a better selection of choices in the next elections, I am not sure I would go through the trouble of getting a real ID our passport.

Yeah, it is a pain in the ass to do either if you have no need for them other than to vote. It is just more excessive government bullshit dumped on it's citizens.

A standard driver's license or state issued ID should be sufficient as long as it can clearly differentiate between residents and non-residents.

Why not crack down on states that offer licenses to non-residents that can't easily be recognized as non-residents so they can't be used for voter registration.

fine the states X amount of their highway dollars for each case that can be proven of them allowing a non-resident to vote.

Have ineligible voters voted in our elections. Yes probably.  Is it an epidemic problem?  I haven’t seen the proof. 

An example of 4 people being charged. Ok there are probably others. I would rather accept that a tiny amount of fraudulent votes are being cast(they can still be rejected during tabulation), than alienate elderly, poor and lower middle class. 

The only thing I see is a cry baby sowing doubt in our election processes (except the ones he wins, odd) so he can claim the results in November illegitimate cause republicans are going to get absolutely cooked. 

 

And in the 2024 election there were only a total of about 174M registered to vote total. With about 20M of them not voting.  

I have not been watching much TV news, so I could have missed it. But I'm surprised more people have not brought up how that number relates to the population or actual voter data that has been public for a longtime. 

I wonder how people hear that number and don't think about it relative to the population. If that number was true , in the context he's saying it. That would make about 2/3rds of the population Illegal immigrants .  So think about that. out of 3 people only 1 would be legal. 

I don't doubt that there has been some sort of voting done by people who are not supposed to. Using impossible numbers ruins his argument for me. Using such an inflated number instead of whatever the real number is, tells me the real number is not big enough to be a problem.  I'm not saying that steps shouldn't be taken to make sure as few as possible un legit votes are cast. But Trump himself must think the real number is too small, otherwise why go with such an impossibly large number?

 Has anybody found how he came up with that number?  if its just totally made up, exaggerated or just way out of context?  

Yep, a career politician who has made millions off the people and now cannot even complete a sentence.

I guess all the fraud being uncovered is an illusion too? IF vice president Harryass had won we'd all still be getting ripped off with the huge amounts of foreign fraud. California has so much fraud our politicians (Gavin Newscum) created the Nick Shirley act to prevent people from uncovering fraud. If that idiot becomes our next President God Help Us All.

Perhaps you got # of voter accounts mixed up with # of non-citizen voters and / or assumed three 0’s that weren’t there?

Meant to type “has” communists in it. The Democrat party is welcoming the communists and socialists with open arms. Something to consider when voting for any democrat. The democrats are the party of “confiscation”. They want to confiscate what you’ve earned with your hard work and redistribute your wealth. 

Not sure how welcomed some of these dsa idiots actually are.

She kept bernie, and cortez out on the fringes. Something jefferies and schumer are absolutely unable to do. 

Add to that, their huge mistake of being more anti Trump than representing their constituents with viable economic, social, and foreign policy.

And they've created an opportunity for these idiots to infest their party with the bullshit promise of free stuff, cleverly masking increasing government theft, and overreach. 

I think they have given up on attracting even semi normal, rational people to their cause. As far as I can tell they have lost the private sector union guy which used to be a reliable constituent since the 90's. Government, union employees are a big constituent now which is part of why the want to grow government. 

It's been very difficult for me to find a reason to support the Republicans since the Iraq war and even more so in the Trump era. Having said that, I am further away from supporting Democrats than I have ever been and I have never once voted for one. 

Hopefully Fetterman  will change parties and others will follow. I did not care for him much when he first became a Senator. He has become the most rational democrat.  I like him now even though I may not always agree with him. He seems to have common sense.

You could also say that its Irony that Trump constantly complains about fake news, and then supporters complain when the news cuts away from him lying. 

 Sean Hannity ,Trump's friend even "fact checked " him on some of his claims.      And I'm glad when ANY politician gets called out on their lies.  That is literally  one of the job's of the press. To expose when the government lies and hold them accountable. That is why the founders gave freedom of the press.

I don't think anyone is against voter ID or accurate and fair elections.  Its putting roadblocks in place to keep a large amount of population from voting that is the issue.  

I hope the FCC pulls the public license from ABC/CBS/NBC for censoring a POTUS address on public broadcast frequencies.

Internet, cable, streaming, all of that is paying customers and those companies can do whatever they want, show what they want, whatever.

The public bands should not have woke kooks banning the actual POTUS and denying citizens access to a public address.     This is defacto censorship.   They already did all that during the 2020 election, along with Facebook and Twitter.  This is PROVEN fact.   We need to stop this branch of the DNC from hijacking public frequencies further.

The idea is to put road blocks in place that prevent illegal ballots from being cast. 

It's wild to me that you guys don't need an ID to vote.

I'm in Canada and you need to show your ID to vote. I thought that was standard practice for all federal elections, but I guess not. Our provincial and municipal elections have different requirements. 

For federal elections we have different options. 

1- Show one piece of government issued photo ID with your name and current address. (Driver's license, provincial ID card if you don't have a license, passport)

2- Show two pieces of ID, both with your name and at least one with your current address. (Health card, utility bill, bank statement, etc.)

3- If you don't have an ID, you can still vote by declaring your identity and address in writing if someone assigned to your polling station vouches for you.

The elections are also administered by an independent, non-partisan agency, Elections Canada. Paper ballots are counted by hand at polling places, with representatives from candidates able to observe the count.

Only American Citizens should vote in American elections. It's as simple as that. 
To be sure, disallowing voting because the burdens of proof are difficult or unattainable is criminal. No Citizen should be prevented from voting for any reason.

Let's fix the barriers to identification proof and pass a simple, common-sense piece of legislation. What seems to be the problem here? I could write one up in less than a full page of type, and I'm not even a damn lawyer. 

Not everyone has a passport, secondly only citizens can vote, so if your here legally and became a citizen you been here quite sometime. You might not have a valid passport. 
Allot of  American citizen don’t have a passport. My Real Id will not work it doesn’t have a citizenship status on it.   Married women that have different last names will have to prove there name change. So they will have to have a passport, then a Real Id, then produce the documents that show the legal name change.  So it’s multiple things.  

But when you register to vote now you already do that at the DMV. So it’s already been checked once.   

Just to state something about stolen elections. 

2016 election had a Democrat president and Trump won , Republican won both the House and Senate.

2020 election had Trump as president  and Trump lost, but the House went Democratic and Senate was 50 republicans, 48 Democrats and 2 independent but caucused for the Democrats. 

2024 election had Biden as President and he lost, the House and Senate went republican.

We could get into who helped and who tried to commit fraud but I’ll leave that out for now.

But if you think the Democrats were rigging the election, then you would think they would have done better because it seems they rigged it for the republicans.  Doesn’t really make any sense.
