I'll be glad when it's over so it won't be on the news constantly.

They really need to do something about the flopping, it is out of control. I did not realize they actually train and practice it, pathetic! 🙄

England get an opportunity for some payback later today playing Argentina in the rugby.

We meanwhile are probably about to get a kicking off South Africa who are scary good at the minute.

No flopping around guaranteed…

Well... that's an interesting first half for England. France don't really look bothered but you can only play what shows up. From an English pov let's hope they (the French) don't wake up in the 2nd half and make a remarkable comeback. Yeah 3rd place, bronze, 2nd losers etc etc - it is what it is. Still rather we win than not. The Argentine game was dire (England's performance in the latter half) though I agree Argentina were the better team and definitely deserved it. Pity it's wrapped up in so much politics regarding the Falklands but they insist on ramping it up at every opportunity. Edit: Fuck...

What a superb crazy game eh, it had everything

10 goals

1st half, Thought ENG was going to thrash them 6/7  nil

2nd half, French have a rocket fired up their arse, and find their mojo and look like they was going to win

Great attacking football

Mutal respect between the players and fans

It made a refreshing change,  no cheating, no tripping up over a blade grass, no dodgy decisions,

Looking forward for today, off to foxhills, then straight to the pub when I get back for the final, which will be a total contrast to last night game

Vamos 🇪🇸 ✌️

Yup, that was a great fight for the Bronze. 10 goals is crazy.

The Springsboks delivered a 43 - 0 yesterday. Wales failed to score a single point once more. The previous meeting between the two was 73 - 0

Wales are stacked with really good players and I'd replace the head coach and all his assistants to get the results they, the players deserve.

This pre-match ceremony and halftime-show are total cringefests.

If they don't, they should because it is out of control.

I'll be glad when it's over so I don't have to hear about it for another four years..... 🙄

This is the first time I’ve sat down to watch a whole game. 80 minutes in, zero to zero. I don’t know man I try to have an open mind but I’m not seeing the draw. 🤷‍♂️ Maybe if I knew the rules better I’d get it. They sure recover fast. One minute it looks like they’re gonna get carted off and 30 seconds later it’s like nothing happened 🤣

Ha ha ha ha, my sentiment's exactly. I tried to watch a match as well. It was one of the most boring things I've done.

1-0 NAILBITER and I was on the edge of my seat, the whole time! 😂

Probably ended up doing stuff around the house at the same time.

I think you’re being a bit kind there Boom, we are coming off the back of a golden generation right now and that score is a fair reflection where we are. Team of kids and middling talent older players very much in transition. The coach can only work with what he has available, which currently ain’t much!!!

We are improving, but the gap between the top (France, NZ, SA) and everyone else right now is pretty significant. Smile

Edit: World cup finals are usually always shite.

Yeah the 'show' was excruciating. Though Wayne Rooney made me smile when asked live about his favourite part of it: "I thought it was crap" - making the other presenters visiably uncomfortable. Pretty sure he was speaking for most people watching in that moment cause it was indeed crap.

Glad Spain won. Argentina not covering themselves in glory post game with some players tying to throw fists on some of the Spanish.

I fell asleep sometime before halftime. (Thankfully)

It's 06h07 and I'm sitting in my office, reading about the final and thanking my lucky stars for falling asleep last night.

Les frogs are a rediculous team, my favourite to watch in all my 47 years of watching rugby so I don’t agree there’s a gap there between them and the saffas other than the one created by them being… well… French.

Having seen how the football world cup has gone I can’t see it being long before the IRB start thinking seriously about the rugby world cup being held in the USA too.

2031 rugby World Cup is already booked for the  USA ,  Nz is playing South Africa there this year and we have played Ireland there a couple of times on the last 5 years
