I think he might have some kind of internal injury. When he got up from his crash yesterday I thought he looked as if he was in pain in his stomach area. Maybe he took a handle bar to the belly or something.

I reckon both the Coenen boys will be cancelling their next trip to the US.

what was renault thinking cross jumping like that on the opening lap? He either got cross rutted which I doubt since track was in good condition yesterday or it was just a very very stupid move. I marked his head with the Sidi sign, gives a good indication how much of a crossjump that was.

Oh and he brutally landed exactly on Lucas knee. Sorry for the awful quali tho

Have a good look at that vid put up by LouisianaMotocross. * though, that seemed to 'disappear' just now ? Weird.

Lucas looked like He drifted more mid air - from his right to left, than Renaux did right to left.

Renaux jumped across a little bit but that's in line with the direction of the track, Coenen was the one who crossjumped

I have to say, this may be the best motocross track I have seen in my life.

The size of the hills and jumps with a technical surface is exactly what world championship motocross should be.

I do wish it was more like yesterday though, seemed like the ruts provided more passing opportunity and provided a more technical race track that allowed for separation.

Did I hear him cry, did someone else hear that? It didn't look like a bike thing, more so than we was in pain? Did he actually end up with an injury from last weekend? That would be absolutely awful. And the schedule is absolutely packed now, there is basically no break anymore.. fuck

I'd think he was crying over the championship more than the physical pain he was in

What happened to Langenfelder? He closed the gap, got punked a few times, then just lost his speed?

WTF ????????

If I tried something like that, I'd be Dead Meat!

She Who Must Be Obeyed just barely tolerates me putting some (spotlessly clean) weldments in the Oven, for some basic 'ageing ' or annealing.

Hahahahahaa...that ain't me either. I'm far to scared of the missus to try that.

Either ran out of steam or out of tearoffs.

He was charging hard to close the 5sec gap.

Coenen brothers are both tough as nails.

And they prove it through actions rather than bragging about it, which makes a nice change

Holding his left leg... Yeah that's it. And there is basically no break anymore until the end of the season. What a tragedy

Really hard to tell what Lucas injured by the way he was riding and what he was holding, did he pull a hamstring? Knee ligament? Something even weirder like a nerve injury?

Absolutely gutting. Survived that digger at Southwick last week only for his season to be derailed on lap one of the qualifying race this weekend

Is it now safe to say that the Coenen twins were beWICKed last weekend...

Coenen is done, looks like a knee injury.

Yup, more than likely he is done for the season ( I hope not) He could not walk by himself, his crew had to help him. A huge bummer for the series if this turns out bad.
