How about this kid sneaking up on everyone!

Anybody got the stats how his rookie yr stacks up to the greats?? He seems to be doing really well.  

I stand by my earlier quote that he'll get a moto win before the year is out. Maybe an overall.

He looked a bit tentative in those motos when he was up front, but also didn't look like he was panicking and over riding either. 

The past few races he has been the 2nd best Star 250 rider, which is saying a lot considering they have like a dozen riders on their roster.

Would never have guessed he would end up consistently ahead of his more experienced team mates. 

And he is clearly gaining confidence, just needs to be able to carry that speed for the whole moto. But he is getting closer each week. Very impressive rookie.

Not sure if he was tightening up or his fitness needs some more work, but he’s only going to get better.

Well the “greats” as I’d classify them all won a bunch of races/championships their rookie mx seasons with Stew winnning almost every race he entered 

I don’t know that I would call it “sneaking up”. Minear has been doing this all season. He went 6-3 last week as well. 3 moto podiums so far and averaging 7th for Overall’s. The only thing outshining his performance is his funny personality.

I was shocked when I saw that he's 4th in points. Great season so far 

He’s having a good rookie you, but no comparison to greats of the class.
