How does this thing in Iran end?

Always so much bothsidesism on this issue and it drives me slightly crazy. The stated goals of Islamic regimes are not shared by Israel or any other developed nation. People just refuse to take them at their word when they talk about conquering the world and killing their enemies as official state policy/religious doctrine. Nobody else is doing that no matter what selectively edited quote you can find from some guy somewhere in government.

Do you have a link with Iran stating they want to conquer the world?

Got it, I should not take anything you say literally...

You’re a smart guy. If you’re feeling froggy go read about the Greater Israel concept.

Arguing over small amounts of disputed territory in principle is not the same thing as having every leader you've ever had talk about taking this shit global and how incompatible it is with western values. If you're talking about the broader use of the greater Israel term then you've gone far outside what any actual government position is. Again, bothsidesisn where the two things being compared have almost nothing in common, in terms of the reach or how intertwined it is with actual policy.

The Jew hate is clouding a lot of people's judgment on this so let's make it simple. If tomorrow you had to choose between the United States becoming an Israeli state or an Iranian state, what are you choosing? If you had to send your daughter to live in Israel or Iran, which one are you choosing? If you had to go stand up in public and express your personal beliefs on God, which country do you want to do it in? There's no debate to be had on any of this and everyone knows it. Hate Israel if you want to, but being a westerner and not hating Islamism more is insane.

I know this feigned ignorance thing is your shtick but come on with this one...... look around a little and you can also find the analysis of speeches given by every Iranian president since the revolution which all consistently say the same things. Nobody in Iran denies any of this, not really sure why you are...?

Would you agree that Iran is an anomaly in the Middle East and, for over 40 years their malign behavior and support for terrorist proxies has spread across the region?

Since 1901 when oil was discovered in Iran, the UK and then the US have tried to control Iran's oil. Iran's democratically elected government was overthrown by the US when they installed their puppet the Shah. The Iranian revolution was a populist uprising against foreign dominance.

Iran is an "enemy of the US" because the US made them an enemy, how do you expect Iran to fight back against a nuclear superpower?

So avoid the question by responding with a question. Typical

Sad thing I’ve noticed. You’re full of excuses and, a bleeding heart for a country that chants, “Death to America”. You know, one of Australias allies….

Don’t worry. No need to further discuss or, quote one another.

Would you agree that Israel is an anomaly in the Middle East, for expanding it's borders over the last 78 years?

Yes. You ask that like a gotcha moment.. Like I’m a blind supporter of everything Israel is doing.

 Now, answer my question.

Would you agree that Iran is an anomaly in the Middle East and, for over 40 years their malign behavior and support for terrorist proxies has spread across the region?
