I think he has in the past. Shame he's not doing it, but if his focus is on winning the British and collecting all the bonuses that come with that, I can't say I blame him.

Anyone an idea what's going on with Noel Zanócz? He didn't race in South Africa and he's missing on the entry list again. Is he injured or did he had to move because Van Venrooy attached both Elzinga and now Seewer after Guadagnini's injury?
Can't wait to hear twostrokes buzzing on that hill again.
I think Sacha skip England and will be back at Loket.
I think he will give it at least a try in free practice. If it's too painful, he can still sit this one out and get some further lasertreatment on his collarbone.

Succesfull surgery for Sacha Coenen, GP in Foxhill still possible
SOUTHWICK Sacha Coenen, who broke his collarbone in Southwick on Saturday, underwent surgery in the United States on Monday. Everything went well. He hopes to be able to start in the British GP this coming weekend.
Sacha Coenen (19) pulled off a heroic performance in Southwick on Saturday. The rider from Overijse crashed hard at the end of the second heat, got back on his KTM, and still won the race. At the finish line, he shouted that his collarbone was broken. That turned out to be the correct diagnosis. On Monday, Sacha underwent surgery in the US. The procedure, where a plate was screwed onto his collarbone, went really well. Coenen hopes to be at the start of the British Grand Prix this weekend. Not easy, but not impossible either. In the past, several riders have managed it, like Simon Längenfelder in 2024. The German even broke into the top ten in Lugo, Spain, just one week after his surgery.
Tests first
Sacha still has to undergo tests on Friday in Foxhill with the doctor from the International Motorsport Federation. Only when that doctor gives the green light can he start. Coenen is currently leading the MX2 World Championship, with a 14-point lead over Guillem Farrés.
Twin brother Lucas also crashed at Southwick. He didn’t get injured and will definitely be at the start in Foxhill this weekend.
Someone say broken collarbone is like motocross flu.

I like Coenen, I wish him all the best and I hope he's racing this weekend in England.
But let's not underestimate Guillem either; he's had some very good races lately and has put Sacha under pressure.
American rider Lilly-Ann Pettus, who celebrates her 18th birthday this coming Thursday, will make her WMX debut at the MXGP of Great Britain. She currently holds ninth place in the WMX USA championship standings.
Yeah I'm excited. Went to every gp from 94 to 99 and the mxdn. Got some core memories from this place. Was the beginning of my mx obsession going there every year as a kid so nice to have a full circle moment.
Weather is looking awesome and I hope we have a good turn out and some good racing!

Yeah I love that track too. I hv a bunch of 90,s Duke video vhs tapes all the tracks back then were awesome. Big hills & valleys & foxhills had the biggest.

Hopefully Sacha is cleared by the doc and he is at least able to ride a points salvaging race…
This could be a season defining moment.
They will have showers in the night I've seen in the weather reports. So with some luck the track could be prime.

The VMXdN was at Foxhill for the last three years. The ‘Old blokes on old bikes’ event drew huge crowds: like, 20,000+, which is far bigger than any modern day GP in this country.
So, we will see this weekend whether the track was the reason, or the fact that it wasn’t modern motocross.
2 hours away, still undecided at this point. Something will make me decide.
Work has freed up for tomorrow so i am thinking of going lunchtime, subject to the tickets being confirmed.
From where the temporary fencing is it looks like fans can get quite close to track in parts of the valley.
The layout looks incredible, lets hope the weather is good and the track prep is good.
The sensibly priced admission tickets for the VMXdN (compared to the GP) will be another reason for it having a better crowd.
I think tickets are still available on the gate...
