Lars said looked like jo broke collarbone at end of plate that's already on it on the xrays at medic rig, but concussion was bad enough he couldn't have raced anyway and ended up going to hospital to get that checked out. Doubt we see him until after the break if at all until smx. Can't just put a new plate in if broken too close to the end of the bone.

So disappointed we didn’t get to see the best of Lucas, but let’s just hope he’s fit and healthy to resume his MXGP title run.
As for Sacha; that’s the risk you run with his all or nothing style, absolutely awesome watching him destroy the 250 field. Hope the tough little bastard heals up quick.

Me too, such great racing but second race would have been amazing with Lucas battling them too. Couldn’t say he’d win but sure wouldn’t be far of. Great ride from Deegan too!

Chase crashed out 2nd round, then when he finally returned he had that mystery illness. He still pushed Jett a few times tho.

Todays 'broken backs' are stuff everyone just walked off prior to 2015.

Notwithstanding the seriousness of any kind of spinal injury, because they all such at any level, and should be taken seriously , but there is a point in MX where an injury sheet never ever contained any kind of detail like 'cracked Vertebra', let alone the numbers.

Maybe we just didnt look, but i dont suddenly believe that these are injuries that never used to happen.   They just werent detected ,and we cracked on.

My Bad!! Probably would have helped if I read the comment instead of just watching the video. I saw the video early in the day during qualifying. I was thinking there was someone else during the motos

When was the last time a rookie had the red plate in the 250 class btw ?

I think Deegan had it briefly in 2023 because Jcoop missed a race and Hunter had a DNF.
Before that idk. Maybe Tomac in 2010

Deegan would have continued to beat Chase if Chase had not gotten hurt.

Chase could not beat Tomac.
Chase could not beat Jett.
Chase would not beat the new and improved Hunter.

I dont care what bike he rode.

The top guys elevated their speed.

Marchbanks was a month away from beating Chase regularly.

Did u not watch pala? He would have easily beat him both motos if his dumbahh could stop falling. Why can’t yall just admit he isn’t living up to expectations. Every one of you now say you never expected him to win immediately but I guarantee everyone of you said he would before the season
