Very solid day for Garrett. Or anyone for that matter.

Marchbanks is over delivering... seems much better suited to a 450 than a 250...

Garrett must have pissed in Bondo's cheerios at some point, because I don't think they could ignore him on the broadcast any harder if they tried over the last few rounds.

2nd moto today he got a great start (not mentioned) hung on to Prado for a long while, crashed back to 7th (mentioned but not shown or replayed) and passed back to 5th.  They only showed a few seconds of  crappy split screen drone shot when he was closing in on Webb, then cut away before the pass, then cut back to Webb after Garrett was by and continued to ramble on about Webb for like 2 laps while Garrett put 5 seconds in to him.

I get that Garrett's been riding in no man's land with large gaps in front and behind late in the motos, but he's been consistenltly moving forward and making passes every moto which seems worthy of at least a few legit seconds of air time at some point since he's  been finishing 5/6 every moto.

Marchbanks is doing great as being regularly the best of the rest, but he was nearly one and a half minutes behind the lead when Hunter crashed in the second moto.
The gap between the podium contenders and everyone else is vast, especially without Tomac, Sexton and JCoop.

Lol, wonder if he would have passed Prado if he were on a different bike?

I'm not saying the Kawasaki is a POS that can't win, but I feel compelled to point out that the lap times of the top 3 are another level. Pushing the bike that last bit is where the differentiation is.

Correct, then you are also suggesting that the other 37 bikes are not capable either.
Its the talent. Go back 10 years, 20 years etc, the cream always rises.

Bondo is all about the drama narrative and playing it up.  Unfortunately for Garrett, he didn't make the Bondo cut for drama.  Today was all about the Coenen bros, the Lawrence bros, the Deegan versus the Lawrences, and Prado/Prada performance.  That consisted of 98% of the broadcast today.

I think the issue was Marchbanks was riding by himself mostly.

There is a huge gap between the top 4 and the guys 6th place and back and he's just there in between ripping.

Had he stayed in the battle with Jorge and hung onto him and Deegs for longer in Moto 2 he would've gotten a bunch more TV time.

They cut to his battle with Webb after crashing and he made short work of him and was back alone.

I love that his starts were much better this week. I loved that he has gotten closer to the top 4 and farther from the rest of the guys. He will be really good at Washougal. I think he has a shot on the podium there.

We don't have the data to make that conclusion. We can conclude that either the bike, the rider, or the team has kept Kawasaki from their past success unless we want to blame bad luck.

We also know that the Lawrence brothers, Deegan, Prado, and Lucas have been able to consistently go at a better pace than the rest of the field.

The kid can ride the snot out of one, but he’s way too big for a 250.

over one minue and thirty seconds down. Meaning if the race wouldve gone a little longer he gets lapped. He doing good yes but crazy how much better the front runners were. Also that pass by Lucas on Marchbanks going waaaay wider on the outside blasting by was crazy
