Bonnie living the dream at ride camp, where leashes are not allowed.  Hard to tell who has more fun, the dogs or the riders. (It’s definitely the dogs)

My dumb dog ate (chewed up and swallowed) one of my pygmy date palms over a few weeks. Then he pulled it out by the roots and ate those. Here he is, too dumb to know he's in trouble.

No, it's a Furcraea Macdougalli, but they are very similar by the looks. Probably a desert adaptation of what you have. Very spiny, which is probably why it is still unmolested in my flowerbed instead of being destroyed by my dog.

I’ve got one dog that doesn’t bark. That dog is not Mardi. Squirrel, she’s barking. Birds, she’s barking. Random truck driving down 281, she’s barking. I’m sitting in my recliner, she’s barking. Catahoula Character!

Anyone-else experience this…?

I get up in the morning…walk downstairs…the Sun’s jus’ starting to climb into the morning sky…& there’s Milo…usually up-side down on his back in his dog bed…in front of the fire place where he’s staked his claim…

I go over and rub his chin and he barely even moves…barely acknowledging the day…maybe slightly opening one eye…

And I’m so fucking grateful that he’s my Husky-dog- buddy.

If you don't already have a vet, find a good one and at least have a consult with a blood workup. That boy is worth it.

With everything we've been through with Ollie, and Eddie. (my 15yr old diabetic cat) A good vet relationship is s a must.

I've learned that anything out of the ordinary is worth checking out.

Absolutely correct! 💪🏼

We have a vet in San Clemente that loves Milo & maintains his “travel credential” and DOES NOT shoot him up with unnecessary shit, which is nice.

He takes the heart worm stuff every month or so…gets a shot now & then…

So far, and keeping him the fuck away from the coyotes he’s ALWAYS trying to get…well…as he’s coming up on his 6th year…? So far…so good.

The Pacific and shredding trails in Mexico keep Milo young 🤣

Yeah, it's definitely not difficult for our vet, and Ollie's rehab crew, to fall in love with him.

No doubt Milo is just as much fun for them when he shows up.

BTW, even with his limitations, one racoon, and a possum have met their demise.

And the backyard of our cabin borders on the Pisgah forest, and is a pathway for coyotes, a few bear, fox, etc...

He sits out on the back porch waiting to sound the alarm when he hears them.
