Cardo Systems introduces the Cardo Venture, an off-road moto helmet with integrated communication and safety features. The Cardo Venture allows riders to stay connected during their rides. Cardo had us out at their product launch at Chaney Ranch to take a look.

The Cardo Venture facilitates real-time communication between riders, enabling groups to coordinate routes and stay connected. The system also enhances safety by providing a direct way to alert others in emergencies and allowing group leaders to maintain constant awareness of their team.

Cool idea. I like that they put this tech into a Leatt helmet instead of a cheapo, plastic one.

To each their own, but I put my helmet on to get away from the things they're installing inside that helmet.

Whats the difference between this and installing a cardo system in your existing moto helmet?

It depends on the helmet. I can mount my Cardo Packtalk in my Bell Moto 9 Adventure with no issue, but my Alpinestars SM5 helmet has no room in the ear pockets for the speakers.

They should focus more on integrating into existing helmet companies designs rather than collaborating with one mfr. I have a cardo and a 6d atr3 which has the speaker cut outs and even then, the speakers still hurt my ears after a few hours.

I hope communication between rider and others will not be allowed for racing.

Had to five you a thumbs up due to the simple fact that this is true on quite a few helmets.

Different shell sizes and liner thicknesses makes this an issue that’s hard to conquer for a lot of riders.

Using different/various helmet speakers from different brands/makers or even adapting in-ear monitors can help with this problem. Same goes for microphone solutions.

I thought the same until I got one. When I rode in  dual sport events 5-8 of us had them. It is an absolute blast shit talking your friends while riding all day. It is also a big help when there are 400 riders and you are trying to keep your group together. Plus you can click it off whenever you'd like.
