After hangtown I thought he was gonna take control of this championship. Not a good race for him. The good news is that nobody else had been consistent either, so he's still in it. In one of the last years he'd already be 60 pts down
I think Cole wants to win and expects to be on the podium, but I wish he’d tone it down a touch and just focus on good solid motos. I feel like that’d be better in the long run.
He matched Sacha for the fastest lap of the 2nd moto. Speed is there, just needs to get more motos under his belt.
This. He's got 5 Nationals under his belt. Starts aren't great. But the speed is absolutely there. Should be a real threat next year. Which, crazy enough, might be his last 250 mx season if he wins sx. When is the last time we saw a kid only get two shots at a 250 mx title before moving up to a 450?
At least we are done with the Davies vs Deegs comparison. Pretty sure Davies wouldn’t be hunting Jett down in motos, beating Hunter and ripping off podiums in the 450 class

Posted an update. Looks like it was a bike issue rather than an injury so that's good.
He's obviously fast, however I didn't expect this inconsitancy. Very young though.

He is doing way better than I expected. He isn’t a title contender at this point but he can win a moto and podium an overall at any time.

*being ripped off the podium.
It is his rookie mx season. I expected it to have some inconsistency.
Bingo. Pulling for this kid, just needs some more outdoor time.
