Now that neither will be in their House seats in the next Congress, will they start spilling the things that have been claimed to be in the Epstein files?  Any other issues that they might want to ‘clear the air’ about on their way out the door?  They’ve each got over 5 months or so, it could become very interesting…..!

I sure hope so. It was refreshing to hear what Lindsey Graham after winning his primary. His voting record is hot dog shit compared to Massie. Trump whined that Massie voted with the democrats too many times. Hell I think ol LadyBoy Lindsey has voted with them 50% of the time. Anyone here recall when someone spotted Lindsey roaming Disney with a bubble wand in hand? How many kids he have? Surely wasn’t there with nieces and nephews. Fucking creep.

Hope so, I respect Massie for sticking to republican principles. He lost the election because of it.

I hope so as well, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Think about this: those guys may have nothing to lose from a political standpoint, but they sure have a lot to lose in regular life. Does nobody think that people involved in the Epstein scandal would take revenge? I tell you what, if I knew something about the list, and powerful people were on it, and I knew those powerful people had no morals, I'd be worried for my life. "Epstein didn't hang himself" and all.

Good point. Marjorie Green quit largely due to death threats from her account.

There's such a huge gap between republicanism and conservatism that they're wanting to end the loyalty to a very flawed human and return to loyalty to a very reasonable ideology. Anything to do with epstein is just about being philosophically consistent. None of that is going scorched earth imo, it's just them doing what they think is right, which is more than what we can say about the masses.

I hope Massie runs for President in '28.

The MAGA movement is about putting America first. Trump abandoned MAGA when he agreed to become Bibi's bitch. It's not his movement anymore.

Massie is the natural choice because he is authentic.

Trump was never MAGA, he just weaponized that as a false narrative to fool people into satisfying his personal desires, but it will be interesting to see what all is encompassed into a more America-first version of ideological conservatism. Generally speaking, even if you disagree, you can usually work ideologically driven people, which is who Massie seems to be. When a person is only out for whatever makes them happy, you get inconsistent chaos, which is what MAGA actually is in practice. It's where Trump's lies spread into the lies of million of Americans and that's been highly destructive to our nation.

America-first seems to mostly center around economic isolationism, which I'm not exactly against, if done thoughtfully. One of the ways that decent people today corrupt their-future-selves, is by creating an economic dependency with....less-resolute....partners. So when they do something shitty, you're stuck funding their immorality because your people depend on them, kind of like how we're all still funding Russia's mass murder and violation of sovereignty of other countries. It's hard to cut those cords when you let that dependency grow. In that regard, economic isolationism provides a layer of protection against corruption, even though it's kind of an anti-capitalist mechanism.

I have some respect for Massie, and also somewhat Mace, somewhat standing up for their principles. But what is discouraging to think about is that they haven’t already named all the names that they have inferred they’ve seen in the files. They’re obviously more principled than the average MAGA sycophant congressperson, but that bar has become ridiculously low.

Our "greatest ally" would probably consider this scorched earth.
