Who’s going and dare I say it, anyone care to meet up and put names with faces, bench race (not a fan of the term), talk shit, drink a beer? LCQ finish at ~ 12:15 so we could gather in the dead time before opening ceremonies. If there is any interest we could pick spot on vendor row. If not, see you there and I’m sure we’ll cross paths, I walk a lot and every time the bikes come out, I watch from a different spot. Pretty stoked for this one more than any other Pala National I’ve been to including the first.
I’ll check back this evening and if there is interest I’ll name a spot and a time.

I was in California for a couple weeks, planned on staying to witness the most stacked 450 gate of all time. Unfortunately had to bail back home on Tuesday to handle some BS for work.
Enjoy and take this one in - I feel it’s a lineup we will talk about for years to come.
PS I really miss living in California.
I’m 6’ 3” old man (66) and I’ll have a KTM backpack. I’ll be roaming around a lot of the day and cooling off at the hillside VIP tent when it heats up. I’ll check back here if you get a meeting place set up
I went to Pala the first 2 years they had the national there. Traffic and parking were so bad and horrible coming in and leaving that I swore I'd never go back until they had the national again at Glen Helen. Well, my little one is begging to go so I'll be there this year.
Anyone know if parking or traffic has gotten any better over the years? The first 2 years were a cluster f&*%$.

I don't know yet if we'll get there early enough to meet up before the motos start.
There's a longer break between 1st and 2nd motos 2:45pm - 3:22pm. That would be a good time to meet up.
That, or we usually pick up a Nessy Burger after the race (Good burgers near the I-15).
These bikes absolutely shred up and downhill - best overall MTB I’ve had hands down.

Sorry dudes. I didn’t make it into the track until intermission and bee lined to vendor row only to find no Racer X tent this year. Tried to get on Vital on my phone but no service so the whole meet up was a bust.
My daughter’s flight was delayed and put me in the thick of traffic both on the 5 and also 76 coming in. In 8 years I have never seen it so crowded. Was insane today and lucky to catch the second motos. Maybe try again next year with something a little more solid like by the tower.
Dangit. Hope you guys had a good time nonetheless.

Let's do it next year, or at the Supercross race in San Diego.
I've been "hanging out" with you guys on Vital for many years. It'll be awesome to finally meet some of you.
