Where will he finish? If he gets a clean holeshot and it's his race to win or lose? I like the guy but I think those of you who think he will win are being silly. I say if he gets a holeshot this year and RV, JS, TC, etc are not on the ground he could still finish off the podium. I don't think he will win even with a clean start. Discuss...
You're right, idiot is harsh, but I was considering calling him Little Lenny, and I figured that'd actually be worse.

I think people look to the past, and in MX/SX it is what have you done for me lately. RV and JS have been up there. Reed has not. been doing well 5,4, and 7th place. Even Cannard has 4,3,4 and this is his rookie year.

It just looks to me that Stewart and RV can both outride him and pass him if Chad takes the holeshot. If Chad Reed is not on the top of his game or does not get a good holeshot, it is very likely Cannard will continue to beat him and probably Dungee. That reduces his chances by a lot to be on the podium. Cannard has beaten him 3 times, Dungee has beaten him twice.

Anything is possible but when you have 4 fast guys like this, Chads best chance is JS and RV both go down and Reed gets a holeshot. That is much less likely and it is much more likely that RV or JS will be near the front so odds are one of them are going to win and Chad is unlikely to get first.

But as it was said before, anything can happen, RV or JS could possilby get injured or crash and not finish a race. The the chances of Chad winning go down, to some extent, even getting on the podium and very unlikely he could win the series.

See I see it a little different..I see all three making gains on the winning pace. I also saw reed battle dungey and beat him in phoenix...now last week rd was upfront and battled for lead for quite awhile but also made several mistakes costing himself time and putting him out of reach. Put reed in there and his years of racing. Sx and js may have changed something on results....cr showed his fitness and speed on lap 13 w no front runners to latch onto...for what its worth. God help these guys if trey wins one after what he did to cp after his 1st win

With a clear track his confidence will be beaming and I do believe once that clilcks he will be able to check out ......If james, RV, Dungey, and Canard comeout of the first turn clean and on his tail I still think he can battle it out with them, will he emerge victorious? I dont know but a good start and Reed out front one time is all it takes for him to find his groove so i think he would be dangerous with a holeshot.

That would be "way" worse thinking back on the "Bubbles" thread.

Kinda like how Reed caught and passed Dungey twice at Round 2?

wow...just wow. Didnt expect this from you of all people, at all. My opinion is my opinion. And I dont think he can stay ahead of Stewart and Villopoto even with a hole shot. If you think im an idiot for thinking that..... well, in your optionion, I am and idiot. But I think you are out of line on this one.

BTW, what do you really think of the poster who said 5th? Actaully, I dont think I even want to know. Unsure

I don't think your an idiot for your opinion...but I do think you often don't give credit to many riders when credit is due...iam happy to see that you finally admit or accept that rv is real deal...learn from that...for awhile people were saying it was possible and ud put him down etc etc...now when the topic is reed you do the same. Remember reed has more big bike sx experience than any of em (less dub) and is a smart rider that has shown flashes of james speed in the past...if cr gets out front and the others are behind battling for positions he could quite easily checkout...

I could see Reed beating everybody except RV with a holeshot. We know he can run with James as he has in the past and RD and TC seem about the same speed at the moment.

It really depends on how the other guys come out of the gate. If they're mired mid-pack I could see Reed winning it. If RV was in the top five out of the gate then he'd chase Reed down. I think he's the only guy that could if Reed had a clear track in front of him. Bubba maybe, but I still think Reed would hold him off.

Im an RV fan. But don't ever Count Reedy out, he is one tough determined SOB and he will win this year. Let him get bike stuff sorted out and he will be there when it counts.

I gave reed a little credit in my other predictions thread. As for checking out? No chance in hell. He couldnt do it once in 2009 while on a Waaaayy better bike and he looked like he was in better shape. There is no way he is checking out holeshot or not. Im an idiot

So who was js battling with in 09 to slow it down? Face it unless you holeshot your gonna have a battle on ur hands this year and even if you do that's no guarantee you won't have a battle on ur hands...much easier to check out...then again james and dungey couldn't do it last week so why wld cr be diff?

I want to see him get a clean start so we can really see where he stands. We are heading to Daytona this year so hopefully everyone will be healthy and on their game. It could be an epic night of racing.

R-acer, the thing is, we're talking about racing, not time trialing.

As we've seen this year, anything can happen. Stewart, Villopoto, Reed, Canard, Grant, Metcalfe, Tedesco and more have hit the deck.

Last week I had a couple of the top three riders mention that the racing has been clean, "So far."

There's also still a lot of racing left. That's why I find the "Third at best" laughable at best.

Easier than ever with 450s. Pull the trigger and go.
haha gotta love that. How can riding a dirt bike possibly be hard? All you do is twist the throttle.....

As long as Trey gets on the podium that's all that really matters.

I'm thinking James and RV are going to get sick of playing nice, although it's made for good racing so far.

You and your bullshit puts a stamp on every other JS fan. No wonder people react the way they do when Stewart loses. GuyB made a mistake when he let you back in.

He was never clicked. He welched on a bet for a year...finally paid, and figured that was enough to come back.
