Obama’s Iran nuclear deal was limiting Iran’s enrichment and keeping it under international monitoring. Iran was enriching at low levels with older centrifuges, and the agreement was working to slow their nuclear progress. Trump pulled out of the deal, sanctions escalated, and afterward Iran ramped enrichment far beyond previous levels using more advanced centrifuges, eventually reaching near weapons-grade levels.
That’s the pattern people criticize with Trump: attack a functioning policy because a Democrat implemented it, dismantle it, promise something better, then either fail to replace it or leave the situation worse than before.
Pulling out of the agreement did what? The only money iran got u der that agreement was their own funds un frozen and then money they paid the us for weapons on a deal that fell through . The us gave them the money and intrest on that money that were related to that deal that got shut down.
But after that why not start negotiations on a new deal while still under the old one. And work out something for whe. That deal ended.
The rumored deals the US has offered still kick the can down the road. Maybe 20 years maybe 6. Or who knows since we still dont have a deal and its costing billions. That half trillion dollar defense budget increase if spread equaly between all tax payers around $3 or $4k. The war i. Iran has already cost each tax payer roughly $250 each ,in lost aircraft so far. Take the total people who file taxes and thats the amount averaged out. But there is a large amount of people who file but do not owe any taxes so it really gets spread out over fewer people and is more.
And isreal has been saying the same thing and trying to get the us i volved for i wanna say close to 30 years. Obama said they gave him the same exact pitch back in 2009.

Israel was been saying Iran is weeks away from have a nuclear bomb since the 1990’s. Bibi has been trying to get the USA to help militarily, but he couldn’t get any US president to do it till Trump. Every US president has know that Iran would use the strait as a tactic. But Trump though they would just capitulate.

I think Iran has shown that they are not going to surrender. What happens in the future, I have no idea. I just hope that the Iranian people are able to endure the hardship that is upon them and there’s an agreement soon.
