Chase could have gone back way earlier to race outdoors. He chose not to. Its pretty well established.

If the contract situation was as I understand it to have been, I would think George is fortunate Monster didn't decide to go the nuclear route and trot out the army of payroll attorneys to sue him for breach of contract.

I imagine they could have bankrupted him into the Stone Age trying to pay defense attorney fees without even breaking a sweat.

It wasn't a smart business decision, it was a very risky one he got lucky with when Monster decided he wasn't worth the squeeze.

How many of the guys you listed went to a race with the intention of not qualifying? If Chase shows up at Pala and refuses to put in a qualifying lap I’ll say the same thing. It’s childish and unprofessional.

Prado didn't show up at Pala 2025 with the intention to not qualify, he got 6th.

I don't begrudge Prado (nor would I Sexton) if he can't get the Kawi to work near the last rounds and looks for any reason to get out of his contract.

They both rode the bike beforehand, both signed contracts.

I don't like the way Prado tried to not qualify, but that's it. And I'm over it.

They also said Jorge was struggling to get a clean lap, came in to make adjustments, got cut off etc and time ran out before he got a good lap in🤷‍♂️

How many riders or managers through the years has broken contracts, taken extra vacations? Stew, Craigh, Reed, Webb, Chase. You don't sign a contract with the intention to break it. You seem to live in some fantasy world where no matter how much things sucks, you shall not make a change. Married the wrong girl, yea let's see it through the rest of my life 🤦

If anything, Monster attitude of not even discussing an early release when the cooperation is compltely failing, was unprofessional. It was only going one way, so why not handle it like adults and agree on termination like so many others have done.

You still, after I have asked three times, haven't come up with a solution that would have worked for Kawi, Monster and Prado.

winners quit. got it.  winners dont learn how to test or provide feedback. winners dont concern themselves with putting their own bike on the stand.

It’s a Chase and Prado problem mainly, I mean, I dont doubt the bike is at least « sketchy ». Still, Chase is an amazing rider and should be able to win on it, we all know Chase is a crybaby and super hard to work with. Musquin said on the DV Talks Moto that last year he was unsuferable and trying to change everything every week on the bike and kept shiting on the team and people working for him when races werent going his way. He literaly left KTM cuz he thought they were not good enough for him, which is borderline schyzophrenia tbh.

Prado never ever ride a Japanese bike in his life, it’s more understandable that he wasnt really at ease on it and especialy SX wise, but when came the outdoors last year i was in shocked to see how he wasnt able to keep the pace. Imo, the bike is not the best but not that bad, Chase is just going down hill mentaly and idk what he could do to stop that awful spiral, was talking about it with friends the other days, maybe he should left for the GPs

Again, the fucking point is while others chose to avoid racing by making excuses and staying at home, Prado went to the race.

He could have made up excuses, faked injuries and whatever else has been done.

I want to hear the same critic about that.

So in your opinion missing a race because you’re dealing with some nagging injuries is unacceptable but going to the race with no intention of racing is just fine? Without the provisional rule Jorge would have made the team put the time and effort in to get his bike ready so he could put in a less than half assed effort for two practice sessions. I’d bet the team would’ve preferred he stayed home if they knew that’s what he was going to do.

You can say what you want about how Sexton handled his departure from KTM, and some criticism is certainly deserved, but a very distinct difference between him and Prado is that anytime Chase got on the bike he gave it his best effort because that’s what he was paid to do. You simply cannot say the same for Jorge.

This topics been beat to death and the fact that you’re the only one still so adamant to defend his actions from last year should really tell you something.

Defending champion Chase Sexton will skip Round 2 of the 2025 Pro Motocross series in Rancho Cordova, California, the Hangtown Motocross Classic, to recover from an injury sustained last week at Fox Raceway in Pala, California.

“My apologies for being quiet on here and not providing an update first off, but I just wanted to come clear the air a bit,” Sexton said in a social media post on Thursday. “As you know I had a big get off at last weekend for the kickoff to outdoors and am very sore and beat up but nothing broken so that’s a positive.

“With that being said I will not be racing this weekend and am going to get back to 100% before returning.

go to 28:00-31:00

It’s exactly what I and others have been saying. They aren’t comfortable to push on the bike: when they push it’s exhausting. So either you go flat out like Ac until you grenade or fall over, or you sprint like Prado until you can’t and then fade (backing down instead of lawn darting seems smarter)

And now garret marchbanks is saying the same thing that’s happened to Prado ac Tomac and sexton.

Phil said he would get smoked in the USA on his Canadian Mx bike that won the title it didn’t have enough motor for the ripped tracks in USA.

Jesus, you do really not follow the sport it seems. It was pretty widely reported he took some extra vacation because he was fed up with the KTM and the team.

There was speculation because Chase was quiet as he always when injured but you’re trying to turn that speculation into fact….just because some moron thinks it or feels doesn’t make it true….

The plan is to write an appeal letter to the AMA so he can drop back down and go back to PC IF he doesn’t re-sign with Factory Kawi.

Im sure he will wait for the appeal decision before signing with Kawi again… does PC even want him back?

I’m fairly certain that signing with factory Kawi was contingent on him having a fallback at PC.

Valin could be the next, he is really vocal on the fact he want to leave for the US, either he is going to go with PC 250 wise in 2/3 years or directly come here on the 450 Kawi. I think that cuz Kawi really doesnt want to let him go to another team.

Probably the best year for the Kawi. Yeah it was a little bulkier but was so good - motor, handling, suspension (89 might’ve been a little better). Racing starts around 2:22
