Think of it this way-

You're racing for the Championship, in the points lead, and get a bad break off an attempted block pass. You want to salvage your title.

You are coming through the pack and after making some passes get into a little back and forth tiff with a guy NOT in the running for the championship or podiums. You pass him, then on the next corner he charges in hard and almost takes you out in the corner and again in the following straight he runs you wide and nearly ends your night. You have the ability (take him out) to make sure he doesn't try to run you out of your championship hopes for a third time. What do you do with this pass?

I take him out. Make sure he doesn't take you out, as he clearly has tried twice. No way am I losing my championship because someone wanted to race me for 7th.

( No disrespect meant for Jake Canada, he had a hell of a ride going on in that main. I hope he pulls just as good next week )

Canada deserved to get parked. And, that was a textbook stuffing. But I'd call the Seely incident kinda iffy. Plus, it cost him big.

Even James said that it was a track that you had to throw it in there on them at times to make a pass.
That is just what Hansen did....
He is riding to win a championship, he is not riding to please you.
All the passes he made last night helped him keep the points lead.

Canada block passed him, and it didn't look like he tried to take him that wide, just couldn't turn the bike around. Hansen didn't just block pass him, he intentially took him out. When they showed the replay you could see Canada look to the inside and let off. Hanses then, being the douche he is, proceeded to put him right into the tough blocks. That, was uncalled for. Block passing and "racing" does not include putting somebody into the tuff blocks when it is not needed. Hansen is the one that made a mistake to put himself in that position, the other riders don't need to move out of his way like they are getting lapped.

Why do people insist Cunnigham was getting revenge? Unless he is a major asshole, I dont think he would. Roczen crashed in front of him, he didn't knock him over.

Canada made a CLEAN pass. Then he nailed the throttle and stood up his bike turning left not even knowing Hanny was there. Hanny turned right and hit him. Then one turn later Canada went wide letting Hanny by but Hanny couldnt resist the oppotunity. He's a punk straight up. And other punks cant stand it when grown ups call a punk a punk.

I have been racing and spectating since 1979. I call it like I see it. Hanny is a punk.

Here's what I saw, Hansen passed Canada over the finish line jump and almost hit him on the takeoff. Aggressive pass, was cutting it very close. Could have potentially been very dirty, but no contact was made, just was very close to being a bad deal. Canada took it personally and ran him waaaay wide after the jump. I think if there wasn't a ton of room off the side, he would have taken him out. I'm by no means a Hansen fan, but him punting Canada was somewhat justified.

His arm hit Josh's kill switch/Josh's kill switch button hit his arm,that was why the bike stalled.

I guess...that is what you call a bad luck block pass.

I for one LOVED Hanny's pass on Canada. It wasn't a blatant take the front wheel out type of thing, just a ride a guy high until he brakes or crashes.
