Mechanic said mud packed in the brake and RC 🐐 said he saw the mud in the brake.

He slid out on the non brake side, how in the hell is there mud in the brake or the rotor or anything.

Do they just make shit up for the sake of it or am I missing something?

I’ll let you think this one through on why the front brake was binding after that crash.

Mud in the brake, that's what the mechanic said and Ricky said he seen the mud in the brake.

Said they cleaned the mud out and didn't change any parts.

Unless it was the master cylinder but there isn't even any mud in that area

It's possible that brake was locking up and caused the crash. It was an odd one (the crash)

Yeah even though people don’t like to give RC credit, he said it was an odd crash straight away, and I believe he was right.

It looks like he tried to dab and he missed getting his boot back on the peg.

When RC said he could see mud in the brake I am also assuming he was referring to the master cylinder lever area.

There's 2 main parts of a brake - well 3 if you count the hose., 1 - the caliper, on the left hand side bottom of the fork. And 2 - the Lever, on the right hand side.

What dragged across the top the top of the jump in that insta clip. you can even see the divot outa the darn jump from the lever. Much like Hunters brake a few weeks back, mud/dirt will have packed into the gap you get when the lever is pulled by you fingers, OR by jamming it into the ground across the top of a jump. Now the brake is slightly (or more) on, cos the lever can't close due to the dirt packed in.

Looks like the crash was caused by the front brake engaging. You can see the wheel pushing while he's still in the turn (before the crash).   Seems like the mystery mud was from somewhere else on the track, more likely in the caliper and preventing the pads from backing off than in the lever.
