Yes, you’re probably right - Heerde has metal spectator railing in the spectator area near the start, and it looks like he hit that first.

Busy weekend coming up:
I've taken a look at the remaining calendar after the GP of Trentino. Everyone says "it's 5 weeks off", but that's absolutely not the case:
April 26th:
May 3rd:
May 10th:
May 17th:
After this schedule the calendar gets even more gruesome, starting with 3 GP's in a row:
June 14th:
3 GP's in a row:
July 12th:
3 GP's in a row:
August 9th:
2 GP's in a row:
August 30th:
3 GP's in a row:
September 27th:
October 4th:
Round 3 of the Motul ACU British Championship this weekend from the fantastic Lyng circuit.
Watson and Oliver tied in MX1, and Mewse riding himself back into form, should be good.
David Braceras in for MX2 with MXOlogy Triumph.
Plus great RFX125 action where everyone will be looking to take a race off leader Drew Stock on the JK Yamaha.
First gate drop is around 12.25pm, join Meself and Jeff Perrett for the pre-amble from 12 Noon

That 125 race... epic.
Cas Valk and his new bike. First ride, first win.
It was actually pretty good coverage. Lyng is a great track.
It sucks for Jamie Keith breaking a collar bone. If that kid didn't have bad luck he wouldn't have any luck at all.
According to his instagram nothing broken.
That's good. When the commentating team said it was broken I thought the diagnosis was quick.
I agree with you though, the guy has no luck & seems to be a bit injury prone.
Good race from Bervoets!
I got that straight from our internal comms at the track, he thought it was broken, and so did the track medics, he updated from hospital to say it was ok but he was just bashed about.
And while it wasnt a bad injury, he was hard to get to and in a blind spot on the track, which was why it was red flagged.
Great day of racing, track was mint, 125 Moto 2 was a moment i wont forget, Drew Stock was happy to take the overall, and come through the day OK, and took the whole thing on the chin, which was good to see.
