I guess with free agency starting, it's on to the new season's thread. These always seemed to be started by Scottie, so just like last year it feels a little bittersweet......
Here are the highest estimated 'Market Value' free agents left out there according to Spotrac. A couple of them could be just the right piece to put some team over the hump! And some of these guys are looking at HUGE potential raises over their previous deals. Rasheed Walker of Green Bay averaged less than $1M per year previously, and the estimate has him having a market value of over $20M per year now.

Here are the biggest new contract so far by Average Annual Value. Some of them don't show guaranteed money yet because the contracts haven't been fully submitted, but the tough thing about AAV is that so many of the contracts are structured to have the last year or two voided so the totals looks crazy big, but at the end the difference between the Cap Hit and the Dead Money is so big that teams are practically forced to cut some very good players. I wish the Seahawks could have kept Mafe, but I don't think that it would have been wise to pay him $20M a year so I can understand letting him go. I think that they probably overpaid for Shaheed, unless they have a big plan to get him a lot more touches come next season!
Of these top 16, it's interesting that only 2 of them re-signed with their current teams.

Glad to see the Rams getting some help in the secondary. Their overall stats put them as slightly better than average on defense but most of that was built on the first half of the season as I remember.
😂
So no mention of Diana Roussini and her sudden resignation of her cake job!!!!
I sure am glad I grew up ( and I use that term loosely 🤣) in the days before phones with cameras and social media. My gawd, everything is captured! 😲😳😂
Two marriages and families are seriously affected.

Has anyone noticed Vrabel hasn't said a thing. 😳
You know, it's just a matter of days with the draft coming up that the reporters are just gonna be hammering him with non-football questions.
The list is growing...... 😳
Thought I heard somewhere Vrabel denies anything really happening.... 😜
The real story is that someone else lost their job for criticizing 2 married adults that were having an affair which seems a bit misguided imo.
NFL draft not too many big surprises in round 1.
The Rams taking QB Ty Simpson at 13 was probably the only shock, he was predicted to go at the tail end of round 1 or probably round 2 (rumors that the Cardinals were interested, but the Rams took him early). Time will tell if the Rams made the right call.
The SeaHawks got the second best back in the draft, don’t know much about this young man . He was on the same team as the kid that went at #3 to the Cardinals ,Notre Dame. Not a bad pick at #32.
I’m a ND fan and watched pretty much every game of his career. Price is really good, probably a much higher pick if he didn’t back up possibly the best RB of this generation. Pats got the TE from ND as well which I think was a steal, they killed it with their picks for the 2nd year in a row. Meanwhile our biggest competition in the AFC (Broncos and Bills) did absolutely NOTHING to make their team better, just like the Rams.
I’m really excited to see how he performs with the Hawks. Thanks for your input.👍🏻
Very surprised about the Carson Beck dealio.
No idea but as a NE Ohioan I can guarantee you the Browns will still suck. The owners of that organization could ruin the nfls best players lol
The SeaHawks got a B+ for their draft picks. That’s decent for picking low in every round. John Schneider and coach did a great job trading down and turning just 4 picks(the lowest in the league) to start ,into 8 picks by the end of the draft.
as a Lions fan, i'm happy they addressed the biggest needs in OT and DE.
also, where are the spicy Kay Adams videos? asking for a friend
Pit Row
Were you thinking he’d go higher, or thinking he’d go lower?
Im surprised you haven't posted one 😀
Here's a good challenge for yall... find one current pro player that has never been arrested or questioned about doing something bad.. just find one... one single player... best of luck!!!! #riggedasfuk
I’m not sure if Tyler Lockett former Seahawk is still playing, but he would be my choice if he is.
Not really a challenge when the criteria is elastic enough to disqualify anyone you don’t like.
‘Questioned’ can mean anything, so the outcome was decided before the post was made.
Kenneth Walker is a current player. I’ll nominate him.
