I'l start with, I'm glad that everybody is safe and no major injuries happened.  It could have been very bad. I dislike a lot of what Trump does, but I would never want to see him killed or hurt . I think that anybody who celebrates any attempts on his life is being a hypocrite   and it hurts their cause. I can understand disliking somebody. But like others have said he is still our president and killing him would hurt the country and possible divide us all even more.

Has a CLEAR motive been reported yet? Everybody is doing a lot of speculating.  Last thing I saw was that they suspected it was an attempt on Trump admin officials. ( Todd Blanch interview).ANd that they had not figured out a clear motive.

The jump to assume it was a person with left leaning views  and blame  " the Left " in general is just another attempt to grab the moral high ground. There are plenty of Trump voters who still consider themselves republicans , that are unhappy with things he is doing.  There are many more on the left that would consider an attempted assassination just as horrible as the hard core Trump people. Its all hate, just directed differently.

Of course they will remove the president and other officials when there is an active shooter no matter who is the target.

WIth all  of  the speculation.   There's another possibility , that is unlikely but possible.   Who else was there in  a large number that has also been demonized? The press. It could just as easily have been somebody going there to kill as many of the members of the press as possible. Its one of the largest assemblies of members of the press at one time. Just like people on the right say the media demonizes the president, he has demonized the press. If somebody wanted to inflict maximum damage to members of the press I can't think of many other situations where You would get so many  of them together.  If the demonizing from the press motivates potential assassin's of the President, I don't see why it wouldn't also work the other way too.

SInce people are speculating I figured I'd throw that out there. With all of the hate the president and his cabinet send out towards the press, it may not be as unlikely as it sounds . And may just be a matter of time before something like that happens.

It’s still a bit early and we haven’t seen the Manifesto.

If theres one thing we know, these Kooks ALWAYS have a Manifesto.

Hell, we’ve even proved that via the behavior of a few of’em around here. 😉

Oh yeah he does. Squatch , posts good thoughts. I don’t always agree with everything he posts , but always agree with part of what he posts.

On March 30, 1981, Reagan was shot outside the same hotel. He, along with a few others were injured. The shooting gave him sympathy amongst the public, which many attribute to helping him win a second term.

A very similar shooting occurs at the same hotel last night, right around the time POTUS approval numbers have reached a career low through both first and second term.

You'd think such a powerful and competent administration would've had robust security measures, especially after previous assassination attempts were made. Thank goodness nobody was seriously injured. However, the whole thing definitely raises some questions, and it'll be interesting to see how it develops as more information comes to light.

“Well, you know, I've studied assassinations, and I must tell you the most impactful people, the people who do the most, take a look at Abraham Lincoln ... the people that make the biggest impact, they're the ones that they go after. They don't go after the ones that don't do much.” -DJT

So…you’re goin’ down the Rabbit Hole?

Psssst…the security parameters worked last night.

There are several layers and then there’s The Bubble.

All of it…worked.

Beware the Rabbit Hole.

This has really been making me shake my head today.... calling this a security failure is a little odd.... sure there's always room for improvement, but this clown went on a suicide mission and nobody got hurt..... not sure what better outcome people want?

It did work, no one was killed or seriously injured. The last thing we need is more chaos and division.

Don brings up a good point regarding assassinations as he has studied them a lot. Lincoln and Kennedy were a couple of successful attempts unfortunately. I think they were two dudes who really challenged the old guard.

I think it's good to check out the rabbit holes a bit, but not get yourself lost in them either. If you don't poke around all of a sudden they've built such a network underneath you that the ground is no longer stable.

I did a lot of research into the Reagan shooting. The last words of his speech before he walked out and got shot were "Make America great again." Wild.

I've been to the Hilton. I even went to the Correspondent's Dinner in 2007. W Bush was President and Colbert was the comedian. I don't remember any security at all, but times were different.

One thing I will say…… The convenience of anonymity shows who people truly are. Face to face, these are the people that would put on an act and, act decent around you. Behind your back, you know damn well they’re wishing you ill will.

I’ve come across some really awesome people here.
I’ve also come across some really shitty people here as well.

Thank you Vital. Being anonymous does have some form of benefit.

Regan did run on “Make American Great Again “ back then. Trump didn’t coin the phase.

I was this close to Obama when he came to speak at my company 2014  (GE)..while I didn’t agree with anything that came out of his mouth, it was a really cool experience. I did everything I could to stop his policies with my “votes”. This is what being an American is all about- sad what has become of folks on the left these days..

Even worse the Obama curse occurred a year later when GE closed up our facility and moved those 500+ union jobs to Canada. Thanks to the Trump tariffs and economy those jobs plus more are coming back to the USA!

So, you’re saying Columbine and, approximation of 154 school shooting incidents that  have been reported at K-12 schools in the U.S. since 1999 were all staged?

You know you just opened yourself up to what’s coming right?

It's tough scrolling past the usual simps around here without calling them out for the mental dwarfs that they are.

I knew last night's attempted mass shooting would bring the usualtards out of their basements.

Not sure who's more laughable, the true anon post, or the baal cannibal worship clown's.

It's a coin flip.

The stuff being uncovered about the he/him shooter is typical of the growing number of people completely off the deep end in this nation. And browsing the usual sites, has the same people feeding these types. And all being backed by funds filtered through places like, splc, and other NGO's using our tax "donations" to do it.

And how about the video of the lingering press members stealing the unopened wine bottles, cramming them in their bags, under their coats, and chugging right from the open ones as they were leaving !!!

Yep, there's some shit you just can't make up.

Correct , they were already saying it last night. Funny thing is the Ballroom is still under construction and I believe it never stopped even though the dems tried to shut it down.
