Also the constant talk about riders from europe being so good in mud races.
RC yesterday literally said: "Ken is so good in this conditions because he rode them constantly, also as a kid". Bro, not only is he racing in the US for 16 seasons now, do they even realise that most european riders train in dry conditions most of the time? Lommel or Grevenbroich aren't the only tracks they have during the winter, they train in spain and italy. 🤣
And they make it sound like GP riders ride in mud every single weekend. They have 2-3 mud races per year lol. Tomac and Barcia are also excellent mud riders and didn't come from the GPs. Kinda funny.
Diffey and Will cheering for Hunter and Davies was by far the worst part of the broadcast. Announcers should stay neutral.
It doesn't sound like racing & announcing/analysis anymore. It sounds more like a podcast with supercross in the background. The commentary will center on the action for a brief moment, then it doodles off into bro-ville quickly. I don't hate the guys, and I don't mute it. I don't care about grammatical errors, or accents. I just wish they'd "stay on target" just a litttttle tighter. This is partially on Bondo but I don't even want to open that barrel of monkeys.
Raceday Live is starting to get a little bad at this too. Love the dialogue, but I figure there's enough downtime between segments to bro-down, so you could probably stay tighter with the on track action and analysis while it's occurring. It's sort of insulting to chat all the way through 250B practice. That's their only coverage.
