they have been my favorite team since the 60's. i grow more disgusted with them each year. i despise jerry jones.

and Jared Allen is a Viking. Highest paid defensive player in NFL. I bet all the KC fans who have Allen jerseys are pissed.

Man, I was never a real Dallas fan (mostly because my brother was!) but I always thought they were a class deal when the image they presented was Roger Staubach and Tom Landry.....

Jerry Jones certainly ruined that image.

The parole officer in Dallas is probably happy...it's easy to find most of his parolees on Sunday...

Do you know anything about the Cowboys?

All these "Thugs" on the team is a recent phenomina. tex Schram, and Tom Landry would have never stood for any of that crap.

You don't get the nickname "Americas Team" by having a bunch of dirtbags playing for you..

I don't like Jerry Jones or Pacman but Jones just made a great trade.
4/24/2008 11:42am
I just heard Tony Dorsett on the radio this morning say that he overslept one time after a bad storm and didn't make Saturday practice before the game. Landry pulled him from the starting line-up and told him he probably wouldn't even get to play. Tony said he was almost in tears trying to convince him to let him play because his whole family came to watch him play for the first time. Landry told him, "You should have called, OK" and that was it.

IMO the "Americas Team" was gone as soon as Jerry took over and fired Landry.

He didn't pull the trigger and he didn't order anyone to start shooting. Don't saddle the guy with shit because you want it to be that way.

None of that absolves him of culpability.

So get pissed at the guy that didn't do it. What happened to holding individuals accountable for THEIR own actions. The guy that shot the dude is who you guys should be tripping on. If people started shooting at strip clubs everytime a ball'a started throwing money you wouldn't have any stip clubs.

You're with a guy, in the car, he commits murder. Guess what? At the very least you are an accessory. That is how the law is written. Pacman is at the least guilty of inciting a riot.

If he was son innocent why did he succumb to the shooters demand for payoff money?

Supposedly it was intimidation, physical harm.

Might be true, might not. Pacman is certainly a scummy individual, but it doesn't appear he ordered the shooting, or probably even knew it was going to happen.

But dumbass he is, he was still hanging out at strip clubs after being sentenced, inviting more trouble.

What makes you think I "wanted it that way"? I don't follow football and didn't even know who the guy was until this all happened here. He may not have been the shooter but it was him playing the thug and hanging with the like that started the whole thing.

P, you know my posts and have had the chance to see how see certain things. We can debate about whether the guy was involved or not, but I don't think I deserved the "because you wanted it that way" and all it implies.

Different situation. Like APLMAN said it doesn't even appear that Pacman knew that dude was going to start shooting.

Either way, in your example, if you are with someone and the just start busting off, if you go directly to the cops and corporate odds are that you won't be charged. It's not like they were robbing the place. In that case yeah, the guy gets charged no matter what. Like they say you can either be a witness or a co-defendent.

Yeah, Pacman does some stupid stuff, but the dumbass that started shooting is the guy responsible for the guy being in a wheelchair.

So by "Making it rain" he wasn't guilty of inciting a riot? His culpability in the inciting of the riot correlates directly to the shooting. He shares responsibility. It's unfortunate that nobody ever taught him there are consequences for your actions.

Throwing bags or money around is like going into a theater and yelling, "FIRE".

So because he was "playing the thug" as you say he is guilty of anything that happened??? Sounds to me like he was "playing the young guy with tons of money."

I apologize if If my comments were off base. If you say that you didn't mean it that way then I'm cool with that.

Not to me. If you have ever been in a strip club in Atlanta that is a COMMON occurance. The crazy thing is that dudes know not to grab for the money, no matter what. It was a strip club not a dance club.

I don't know, I've been to places where they've thrown money out of helicopters for promos, etc. I don't think one of the assumed actions that result from that is gunfire.

Actually it sounds like the actions that started it all were mostly the promoters actions, after he took the cash and headed out the door with it.

Which court case are you talking about?

Pacman is done with the case.

The only thing he might face is the civil complaint, and that can be a crapshoot at best.

Another great trade, a top DB for a fourth round pick. Jones is smart and you guys are haters.Every team in the NFL has thugs, criminals, and rapists on it.
