Maybe I’m over my ski’s. but when the US has a blockade, are turning ships around and willing to fire on ships that don’t comply. I don’t understand how people are saying Iran is in control of anything. As I mentioned above Iran is in a shambles in every area. Yet it appears that many are not wanting to face the “uncomfortable truth” that Iran is a toothless tiger.
The US is blockading ships from going to or from an Iranian port.
Iran is blocking vessels from navigating through the strait, they do still have that capability.

Iran can get satellite imagery from Russia and the Chinese, why has the US told western satellite companies not to share satellite imagery of the region? Are they trying to hide damage from the media and the public?
It’s not that hard to see what’s happening.
There’s a leadership vacuum and a struggle between the IRGC leadership and actual politicians for the actual role of “who’s running Iran”. Seems the IRGC is puppeteering the Gayatollah versus the politicians that are attempting a slightly more amicable relationship with us.
Also, there appears to be pockets of IRGC military units thru-out Iran that still have some weapons/weapon systems and can/are using them. These units/some of these units may be operating in the dark (without direct comm’s with leadership) or have been independently operating since the take-out of IRGC leadership a month ago…or something along those lines.
As for this recent ship that challenged our blockade? I’m betting it was sent to do just that. And…failed.
Ultimately, if Iran actually fires on our ships and or international shipping traffic over these next few weeks? Well, Iran will feel retaliatory strikes from the US fleet and Air Forces. The ultimate goal would be to eliminate the forces that are an actual threat to gulf traffic.
Also, if they attempt to strike out at our fleet/international traffic? That Oil island of theirs is toast…well, at least from an ownership/use standpoint.
