it was funny how in the first race of Cleveland, for about five minutes straight RC was just talking Davies up, what an "unbelievable talent"  and then he crashed twice and got passed.  RC... just call the race and we can tell who has talent.  They all do!  I feel bad for the other amazing talents out there.  and the camera doesnt even show very many riders.  How can we "grow the sport" this way? He and the other commentators focus so much on Tomac and Davies that Sx seems boring.  theres so many badass riders with cool personalities.  they need to show some of the mid pack riders.  theyre doing some amazing things too.  Its boring watching one rider do lap after lap.. they call following around a "battle"  a battle should involve at least one pass!  they need to listen to Paul Malins style.  he calls the race, doesnt give much opinion, doesnt try to tell you who is better than who or what bikes are better.  and it fucking works

i have to fast forward it now whenever they do that thing where they zoom in on one rider for 3 laps straight and glaze him dry. its just terrible production.

I had the unique experience of being able to only listen to the broadcast as I was driving home from the track yesterday. And I thought it was terrible when I could still view the race, this was a whole new level of terrible. At one point I thought man it would be so much nicer to have someone who could speak intelligently without Bondos puppet strings voice over the broadcast. I’d pay for it.

do they keep an audio of a "semi-excited" crowd the whole race? there were moments of nothing happening on the track but there was this constant audio on the back... Not screaming fans, but cheering in a way (??). Is that fake or SX fans keep murmuring* the whole racE like in the basketball games in Servia? (never went to a SX race, im not from america)

It's damn near impossible to tell what is actually happening if you can only listen, you have to piece together clues from their stories. Like yesterday, Diffey was blabbing on about Coty and Devin actually being good friends even though they had an on track incident the other weekend, so you go "okay, I guess those two are near each other again." Then while Diffey is still droning on about comments they made on social media RC comes crashing in with an "OOOOOOH!" and Diffey says "Simonson goes down!" A minute later he clears it up that it was actually Schock that went down. No idea what position they were ever in.

He's really bad. Like, really bad. He said something last night along the lines of, He's going to want to pass this guy to get a better finish. Something dumb like that. I loved him as a racer and he is probbaly an ok guy away from the track. He does well on Raceday Live. Maybe they can let him jump in there and leave the announcing to Weege, James and some JT.

Unfortunately yes ... kind of like a laugh track for comedy shows. And you are correct it is insulting to the viewer.
