Ahh not bad eh. Tbf I thought KDW would’ve had a bit more today but apparently he’s still not 100%. I think he’ll be a lot closer to Coenen come Lommel & Arnhem.
Time stands still for no one. Coenen is something like 12 years younger than Herlings & hasn’t had the horrible injuries that JH has had. Prime Herlings beats Coenen in the sand all day long imo. Jeffrey won’t win another sand GP with Coenen racing.

Great GP, anything can happen and usually does.
Really buzzing for Trentino.
Me too! It’s a strange schedule though, after Trentino there’ll be a gap until late May, five weeks I think. That’s longer than the brakes during summer.
I think there were originally fly aways planned, but they got canned.
After Trentino we have 2 weeks of before round 3 of ACU British At Lyng, a circuit that has been running 90 years.
The fast laps in both classes were remarkably faster than 2nd fastest..
I thought Tom would get a 5th and Gajser a 4th. Both behind Forato is a small surprise. I thought Tim would be top 2-3 most races, but it seems maybe he isn’t comfortable on the Yam yet. Coenen and Herlings separating from the rest.
If herlings had been on a ktm today , he would have won......
Two Laps down and still wk points .....mx2 is really a joke
Putting a minute on the third guy. And coenen 2sec a lap faster than Herlings, in both Motos?
But to put it in perspective, Herlings was 6sec faster than everyone else in Lierop when he lapped up to second in MX2.
7 sec faster than Cairoli who won MX1 directly after.
No one will ever come close to that gap again.
I will never forget how Cairoli and Herlings lapped to 4th or 5th place while being 6 seconds faster at Lommel MXON in 2012. Herlings first put a minute on 2nd that day in the MX2 + Open and then him and Cairoli put a minute on third in the last moto. Absolutely sick.
Didn't Herlings have a 2 minute gap or something to 2nd in Lierop? 🤣
What happened to Walvoort
What an awesome race!
Love that track!
No, he wouldn’t. Lucas is way faster than a Herlings that rides better on that HRC than he did on the KTM for the last three years.
No idea, he had a hard crash with Lars van Berkel last week at the ADAC. Lars broke his arm and I think Walvoort was banged up from that crash. He still raced the Dutch Masters though. He rode 5 laps in Warm Up but didn't enter the races
Pit Row
I still don’t think Herling’s is at 100% yet, but take nothing away from Coenen, that was super impressive.
I think I've never seen Riola that brutal as it was yesterday. Carnage in every class, especially in EMX250.

Maybe, we'll see, but I clearly remember his brain fart last year at Sweden GP, where he suddenly finished 12-7, and in China 9-14, without any reasonable explanation.

Hope the Triumphs can make it back into this thing. They were amazing the first couple rounds. These guys better stop making mistakes or Simon is gonna have a 50+ point lead without ever being the fastest guy #Diesel
With how good Adamo is riding in MXGP class, I wonder how well Langenfelder will do on the 450. It's nice to see some of the young guns taking it up to the older guys (Febvre, Gajser even though he is a bit younger, Herlings)
Who sees Seewer getting the boot from Ducati before seasons end. 🙋🏼
simon has been the fastest a lot of times this season and the stats show that aswell. On rd 1 he was the fastest all weekend long, even unlapping himself in the quali race overtaking sacha. Last round and yesterday not so much, yeah. No one was gonna beat Sacha if he stayed on two wheels. Dude was flying
Herlings in the press conference: "Even though I might be Jett Lawrence biggest fan, I don't even think Jett would have stayed with Lucas today".
I mean Herlings spoke multiple times about Jett in interviews, but who would have thought back in 2018 that Herlings someday would talk like this about other riders and his competition. I love it. 🤣
agree, looks like local championship plus low numbers of spectators
wait since when does MXGP have a post race press conference? Am I dumb?
