I can’t find one of these bikes to save my life. I’m at the point where I would be willing to buy one from anywhere and have it shipped here. I’ve contacted a few out of state dealers that show them on their website but they have already sold them. Anyone know of a dealer that has one of these in stock? Let me know their location and name of the dealer and I’ll give them a call and see if they’ll ship it to me. I also seem to remember guys buying bikes out of state to avoid sales tax.. is that still a thing?
Any dealers with sx e2’s??

Try Munn racing.
The scarcity is absolutely absurd - just like the price.
Grabbing the little man a RFN instead. Specs near to identical. Available everywhere for a reasonable cost. Can almost grab a spare for the price of the Indy Speed Controller (also constantly backordered) that makes the E2 reliable.
I think that is one of the places I called, but I’ll double check.
Are those the ones licensed by Honda or something? I see those things for sale quite a bit but I know they are just licensed by Honda and wasn’t sure if they were actually any good or just junk with Honda stickers on them.

RFN is it's own e-moto company.

I know how this place can get with e-moto stuff, so I'll just cautiously say - the big brands like KTM doing electric bikes are doing very little in house, they're typically meh on the quality scale, just as Chinese as the Chinese companies, but charging you for their color and nameplate.
E-Moto is a whole different world, and the Big 5 have a lot of catching up to do to the Chinese. Breaking down the RFN vs E-2 there's pros and cons to each, wheel size and weight to the RFN, peak power to the KTM, etc. I know some parents racing their little ones on RFN's this summer vs the E-2s so I'm really curious how that will go.
For what you are getting (all the standard stuff a minibike has + a motor, battery, and controller) there's nothing on the KTM actually worth the asking price, unless "serious" class-restricted racing requires it.
Not worried about racing really. I think the little e bikes are great for small kids to learn on and I love all the adjustability with seat height, and power levels, and if I’m not mistaken, I think most are lighter. I bought a pw50 for my oldest when he was three and it was a little tough at first with how heavy it was, but he was bigger than my youngest and was able to figure it out quick. My youngest who is three now has been riding a Stacyc since he was two and has absolutely maxed out on it, but he is still way too small for the pw50. I was thinking the sx e2 would be the perfect bike for him until he’s big enough for a pw, but they are impossible to find anywhere lol.
+1 on motorbikes plus. I get my street and dirt bike serviced there every year. Very knowledgeable people with great pricing. Only dealership I trust I’m not going to get screwed over at.

Not many around, dont think theyre making them anymore. My kid wanted one for a pit bike, called around couldnt find one and dealer mentioned they are being discontinued 🤷
Action Motorsport in Wyoming has one left in stock.
Thank you! Going to contact them and see if they would ship it.
Edit: just checked their site, says it’s sold.
Damn. They posted on Facebook last night it was available so they must have sold it right after I posted. You could always buy a pre owned one on Facebook marketplace. From my research new ones won’t be restocked until June/july.
Yeah same thing with the other dealers I’ve contacted… they seem to sell them immediately. I check market place every day and there’s not a single one, I even change my location to cover more area.
Ask your local dealer to locate one and you could purchase it from them and drive there and pick it up for them.
I drove from Maryland to Kentucky to get my 1st YZ400F and brought back a couple more bikes in crates. Dealer I picked them up at said that they dont move lots of bikes but sold a lot of ATV’s so they welcomed the exchange.
I got one three years ago, it had been sitting at the dealer for months. I get why they are more popular now. We have two batteries, and it's been so nice to not really have to work on it at all.
Those RFN’s look great and have a great price tag. Anyone have any other feedback on them?

Yeah those are the same dealers that show them on cycle trader and they do not actually have them in stock… minus the ones show in Alaska. Doubt shipping would be very cheap from there lol
lol I’m sure! Good luck with your search and keep us posted. I’ll continue to keep my eye out for one.
Chaparral motorsports probably has one
