So you would never consider Kawasaki besides later in the post when you do in fact consider them?

Exactly !!! HAHA

Piece of shit steel framed vibrating rattle traps with 6” travel existed 30 years ago.

TBF - bikes 30 years ago have more in common with what we are riding today then they did with bikes 10 years prior to them....90's tech (30 years ago) is basically what you see on modern YZ250's, outside the alum frame, which isn't really better or worse.  The 80's tech (40 years ago) is quite a bit different and many factory's were still experimenting with sus setup and geometry.

Speaking of 30yr old bikes... I decided not to wait any longer on Kawasaki.

Maybe when Team Green gets their poop in a group I will pick up a new one to park next to the old one I got yesterday.

Goddamn this makes me feel old. I remember being a kid every year checking out the new KX models coming out and seeing this thinking how badass it looked. 1998 felt like a huge step. The very first "brand new" bike I ever got was a 1999 KX80 that PC fully tricked out for me when I got sponsored by PC. Then the major shift was 2001 with the KX85...that bike was a goddamn rocketship.

Sorry to hijack, I just saw that pic and took me down memory lane.  I was just getting caught up in podcasts and heard the RV interview on Pulp where he talked about the Kawasaki 300. Not totally sure if he was being serious or kinda joking but if you take him at his word I guess we should be hearing some updates within the next 3 months.

Generally new bikes come out in June anyways right? Makes sense we’d see one around then I’d say

RV said he believes there will be a release and he will be riding it in the next three months. Per him on the pulp show.

We get it. You have made your point clear. You are hilarious and have provided such great comic relief but it’s beating a dead horse at this point. Maybe troll something else.

I’m all 4 stroke. I am not going pro and will always pick the bike I can be the laziest with. I still think it’s cool something is at least being discussed. Same as I felt with Ducati and Triumph. I just don’t get the constant trolling in this thread. You do you though.

Don't worry, it'll happen one day.  Maybe it'll be April 1st instead of March 32nd.   My source might have got some wires crossed when converting from Imperial Calendar to Gregorian Calendar.

So you're backing off your take that Kawi's ad agency accidentally used a two stroke sound in the original social media post and from that mistake the entire industry has been perpetuating a fantasy?

hahaha well although that's probably what happened, Once PMG reduces their annual orders, the manufacturers in China will have unbooked capacity on their previous gen KTM 2 stroke lines.  Then Kawasaki can order a few GPX smokers with green plastic.

Anyone else hear about RV possibly showing up with the 300 at the Glen Helen 2 stroke nationals this weekend?

If they re-released the 1996 CR250 the only change I would make is a modern front brake!

GOOD CALL. THAT KDX WILL NEED A NEW TOP END BEFORE KAWI RELEASES A NEW 2 STROKE, UNLESS ITS A NEW KX65 THAT IS!

I would imagine it's likely it's going to look very close to this (minus the headlight).
