Only one of the two big bike tracks is currently open, but absolutely nothing has changed compared to when it closed. Great ran facility and awesome sand track to have back. Drew is doing an awesome job and so far seems like it’ll be open an absolute ton. I’m going to say it’ll probably be my most ridden track this year.

Even though you’d never believe it, but living in Chicagoland for moto is the absolute best. There’s something like 6-7 tracks within 2ish hours

Stoked you replied. If I was going to travel up there and do some weekday riding, do you have any other good spots? Leisure time is on the list for sure but I’d rather go elsewhere since I know it won’t be prepped whatsoever on a Thursday or something. The closer to Motoland the better!

Where you staying at? If your close to Michigan I suggest Martin MX. should be about 1.5 hours from Motoland.

Camping out of the car bro😂😂

When are you going to be riding again?

I'll be making my way over to Motoland here soon. I live by Mt Carroll MX, so about a 4 hour drive with time change. Sadly I have to drive through Chicago to get to any tracks in N. Indiana and Michigan. 🫤

Ok you’re doing it legit 👍🏽

Idek, I got an X-ray it’s not broken but I think slightly damaged my rotator Cuff. So probably 3-4 weeks.

PM me let’s talk more.

Closer to ride in Wi. But it’s like winter here yet. Next week Sunday snow in forecast yet.

Also back for 2026 is Kahoka, Missouri, another great track from the past.

Excuse me, whattt??? I might have to turn the clickers up on the handguard bike and go rip those wood chips

I never rode there but from the stories I heard, my brain thinks of woodchips when I hear that track name.

Leisure Time for sure open during the week, Martin looks like they do weekday practices at times, if you split the difference between motoland and Sunset Ridge sunset also does Wednesday rides at times as well. Joliet MX does Thursday’s each week, but if you’re looking for loamy/sand then Joliet wouldn’t be the place to go. If you’re doing like a long weekend Red Bud is close to motoland I’m not sure when their first open ride weekend is

Here is RedBuds 2026 schedule. We live about 30 minutes from the track and do most all the events. I agree with you guys that Midwest moto is really great. Living on the Michigan/Indiana line there is Red Bud, LTMX, Motoland, Wildcat, Martin, Sunset Ridge, Wabash, Joliet, Muddy Waters, Mt Carrol, Lincoln Trail, Martin, Baja, and even some Ohio tracks within a few hours. Plus the amount of private tracks is wild.

I’m lucky enough to be 10 minutes from Joliet so I’m basically 2 hours away from everything else besides Lincoln Trail, Keithsburg, and Chandlerville which are less than 3 hours

I've been riding at Chandlerville a lot lately and discovering I really like sand. Is Keithsburg 10x gnarlier than Chandlerville when it gets rough?

One of the best midwest tracks.  Attended a Gary Bailey MX school in the early 2000s -- Gary said it was one one of the best tracks he'd ridden.

The owner is an expert at track prep.  The surface is finely ground sawdust well-mixed with good northern Missouri loam.  Layout has lots of ups and downs and the track gets really rough by the end of race day.

Try it if you have a chance.  For me, it's my moto-heaven.
