Anyone else thinks Deegan beats Jett first round?

When does Jett go back to training by the way ?

If he is back in 2 weeks or just 2 weeks before the race, that will change some things I guess.

No, I intentionally ignored it to support my argument

This is the (vitard) way

I know Supercross is very different and Deegan was coming through the pack. But if you took His average lap time in the main and assume he would keep that same average in the longer main.  He finishes 3rd about 15 seconds behind Rockzen but Infront of Tomac by about the same.

That ride was a good one by Deegan but I really don't see what everybody is so impressed about.

If Jett is able to ride at 80% or better, Jett wins. I have doubts that Jett will be 100%, but I still have him as my favorite to win. With that said, I don't doubt that Deegan will be a podium guy with a good start and or some luck. I also think that Deegan learns very quickly and if Jett comes out and beats him by a minute in the first round, Deegan will find speed and  be up there by the end of the season.

I don't see Deegan wining in a straight up race with Jett at 100% at Pala.  Who knows what will happen, I just hope that they ALL ride clean and we  get a close battle  from the start to finish. No matter who the winner is. Not just a wham bam take out of anybody. In the most recent Deegan Youtube video he was pointing out how he rode a clean race and didn't take anybody out. I hope he wants to keep riding that way and let his speed determine his results and not who takes who out.

No matter what happens, I'm excited to watch it and see how things happen. My prediction for Deegan is a 3-4    at Pala for his first 450 race,

do you know what realistically means?

Everyone is so impressed because we may have just seen his best race of his 250 sx career.

It was a good ride, and he's an amazing rider.  Maybe if Hunter and Roczen didn't do what they did I would have been more impressed. Kenny came from  16th  through the pack and kept making up a little time each  lap for most of the time behind Hunter. Hunter managed the gap well .

I'll have to rewatch the 250 main and see what I missed the first time I watched. I think it was a great ride, but I feel like its not something other 250 guys haven't done before.   First and second  almost lapping  7th place and gapping 3rd Eli Tomac by over 30 seconds without 3rd place having any issues and being the race wining level rider that Eli is, impressed me and was an all time great kind of 450 ride by Hunter and Kenny. Maybe if they had not done what they did it would impress me more. But  in a way it helps make what Deegan did impressive too with him cutting through similar to Kenny on a technical track.

I understand what you are saying. What makes this one special for Haiden is that he's never had a standout ride in sx like he has a few times outdoors. His sx skillset wasn't fully established and had some flaws the past few years. I was the go 450 at A1 person, but now I am glad he raced 250 sx this year.
