What you do for your coffee fix. I used a Keurig for years. The about 3 months ago my daughter inlaw who was a barista for over 15 years talked me into but an espresso machine (NINJA brand). It was pricey but was on sale bout a 60 dollars off at Costco, $440.00 They had the same machine and she assured me that it was a good one . Then she put the wife and I in her barista apprenticeship program/ came over and showed us how to make a fancy coffee. Anyway my was spending bout 35 dollars a week to buy her coffee. So it will take a bit for the machine to pay for it’s self.
Wife did same about 5 years ago. Guaranteed we’ve paid for machine ten times over. I still prefer my drip coffee but once in awhile will get fancy coffee.
Me too, I make drip 90% of the time and a latte every now and then. The wife loves her mocha’s, and that’s it. 😂 The machine has a grinder , makes drip, and everything else it does a real good job.
Damn I need to step it up. We're on the $12.00 Mr. Coffee cheapo machine and Costco coffee. We buy good coffee for the camper though lol.
So, years ago when we updated the kitchen for my wife, the one thing for me was I wanted a Jura coffee machine.
The one thing I tell everyone that comes over, if you ever get one, the down side is you'll be spoiled and disappointed anytime you get coffee anywhere but home. We buy our beans at Costco, a particular blend that we like. You can press a button and have any type you like. Coffee, espresso, latte, whatever you want, the press of a button. Programmable to your liking, weak, medium, strong, inbetween, hot, a bit hotter, a bit hotter than that. You can program it to come on at a certain time so when you wake up it's ready to make your first cup. Press the button, it grinds the beans, pressurizes the water through the grounds, fills your cup. A bit spendy but worth every penny. The model we're using right now is the ENA 8, These things are a work horse. our machine probably gets over 2 dozen cycles a day. I'll personally run 10+ cycles a day just for me. Yes I drink too much coffee.

For really good coffee on a budget a bialetti can not be beat.
what do you guys use for beans?
Ninja drip machine with Black Rifle "Just Black". I can't see spending so much on K cups, plus K cup stuff tastes like ugggg.
Same Bill, same. Well, except I think we have the fancy $20.00 dollar Mr. Coffee machine.
You can get a refillable k cup and but your own beans in. I used to do that for awhile but I’m bialetti all the way now.
Wow, that sounds awesome.😎
I agree, took me awhile though. 😂 They are handy but I agree the coffee is not very good.
Save your money. There is no kind of machine that can make that shit taste good. I drink it for the AM drug fix. Mixed with a little caramel vanilla. That, I can keep down.
YOU PUSS!😂
Right now I’m using Starbucks Pike Place Medium Roast. It’s pretty good.
At home I do very strong pourover, basically about 12 oz of pure espresso with a bit of milk and I only have one. I like to grind my own beans. If I get coffee at a local shop (about once a week or less) I'll get a 20 oz sludge cup, aka a red eye coffee, which is 4 shots of espresso in a cup then filled with black coffee
Years ago, I used to go to the gym with my friends in the morning. After, we'd go to a local coffee house that brewed their own beans. I did not like the taste of coffee, had to add sugar and milk. The milk I had to add to keep from burning my mouth. Anyway, every time I added the sugar, the owner would cringe. One day I asked him why the cringe face. He responded that it was like an insult to his craft. He didn't mind the milk as the milk adds health benefits but adding sugar changes the taste of his creation. So out of respect for him I slowly reduced the sugar until I got to zero. It took a while to get used to the "new" flavor without the sugar but 25 years later I'm glad I made the change. I still use a decent amount of 2% milk as I like the taste added and don't like a burnt tongue. I can definitely see that some people would not care for the taste of coffee. However, if you acquire a taste for it, it definitely is something you look forward to when you wake up. On a side note, you might like it a bit better if you add Whiskey LOL

Cumberland Farms Farmhouse blend every morning large with 4 French vanilla creamers no sugar. Only 99 cents my favorite brew ever. Only 1 coffee a day rarely have more.
I’ve been on cafe Verona, espresso and Italian roast from them for a while. Sometimes Pete’s major dickinson if on sale.
Espresso/dark beans work best with bialetti.
I got a breville bambino plus espresso machine about a year ago and never going back. Only paid $200 for it used and I’m making cafe quality espresso at home. Get fresh roasted beans from a local roaster and the quality and flavor of your coffee will skyrocket exponentially.

Also a high quality grinder specifically for espresso is also a must. Can get a decent kingrinder for relatively cheap
I know I know, but I have to put something in there to hide the taste of the coffee. I am thoroughly addicted to the whole coffee routine in the morning but not the taste.
This isn't coffee but the same idea.

I’m just messing with ya!👊🏻😂
I usually just have a 10 ounce’r in the morning with my breakfast…… sometimes more on the weekends. I never have coffee if I eat out , I drink too much if I do.
Second the local roaster suggestion, truly a game changer. We are blessed in Alaska with many high quality roasters as coffee is a huge part of the culture here oddly enough, so getting a wide variety of freshly roasted beans is quite easy
$20.00 ? Damn !, baller status. Go dude go ! 😄 I'd say how much creamer I put in but I'll refrain to avoid the public humiliation 😄
Just a Keurig cup a day (Costco breakfast blend KCups) with some vanilla creamer.
My wife's day literally does not begin until she has her morning cup of coffee. I can take it or leave it. The hotter it gets out the less likely I am to crave a coffee. Seems more like a cold weather thing to me.
That’s when you switch it up to iced coffee…👍🏻
I've had about every machine and style but actually not a huge coffee drinker but liked to have some ready for guests and occasionally for me and always tried the newest trend. Now I have a $20 2 cup machine and enjoy Cafe Bustelo and a splash of French vanilla since i wake up and day trade from about 6am and usually done by 10 it helps.
Edited to add: I use a Keurig and Dunkin' Donuts Original Blend coffee throughout the winter, but for summer I drink a Japanese canned coffee over ice.
