...won't be in his plans for this year!

He talks about it in his column for the new Motocross Illustrated

http://www.mxlarge.com/news/4565-motocross-e-magazine-issue-two-is-on-line

Good magazine, what's even better is that it is free! :D

Like the article on Ben Townley too, it has got me all excited for the GP's now

Seems a little too concerned about finding a good expresso to me.

Cairoli's stock is about to go down.

Maybe in your eyes.

Read the article. After Musquin blew his knew out at Bercy KTM decided it was in the teams best interests to not risk letting Cairoli race SX. People can sneer and talk crap all they want but it seems perfectly sensible to any logical person.

He's going to get smoked in supercross. He should stick to winning world titles.

Cairoli's stock is about to go down.

His contracts are already in place.

Add another million+ to his bank account after all expenses by years end.

And his decision to skip wasn't all his. His sponsors (bosses) told him no SX. It doesn't suit his style and he has limited experience. Being a multi time champ is a negative for a new SX rider.

Winners want to win and in SX you can get bit in the ass with that mentality.

Yeah, that must be the reason Jamma, because they didnt want to risk him getting hurt.

Once you get some sense knocked into you, maybe you'll realize that the REAL reason is because he would get humiliated at supercross, he's not fast enough to race in the US. He couldn't even crack the top 5 at Bercy, and those werent even CLOSE to the fastest riders the US has.

And maybe if you ever take your head out of your ass you would realise he only wanted to try a few rounds of Supercross for fun - publicly stating that he didn't expect to get results.

Ever heard of 'fun', its underestimated, you should give it a whirl some time.

Do you still plan to race in the U.S.?

I need to ride more, but I am not going there with any expectations. I know it will be almost impossible to win, but if I train well, then I can go there and have fun and that's my main objective.

Sure there might be people wondering why I am not at the front, but those who know the sport also know that Supercross is a very different thing. I don't really care what people say; I just want to improve and have fun.

He was probably running Alessi's laptimes at the test track and realized after A1 that it would be a bad idea Wink

Ok, so we can hear another year of shit talking from Mccread. The guy is the fastest racer on that side of the pond outdoors no doubt, but he will have a hard time on this side of the pond especially in a stadium....And he needs to see a good dentist....That may work on this side of the pond. Oppps sorry I digress………

I just hope it doesn't get like Everts and RC, with all the who's best BS when they hardly ever raced each other. It's like they avoided each other to keep the mystery alive.

This time it will ge Cairoli vs RD, RV, JS, CR etc. though.

Once a year at MXDN tells us nothing.

Oh for a real World Championship attended by all the top riders like MotoGP, SBK, Speedway and just about every other motorcycle sport discipline.

I could probably tell you why, but it wouldn't go down so well.
