Any of you Florida natives feel like snagging a new project, the bike that was stolen from me in Sept of 23 is making its 3rd trip from Ohio down to the GVO Miami ride out.

Its easily identifiable with my custom teal ribs on the seat and loveforleighton logos on the fork guards. Snag and run if you like!

Finders keepers. Ill even doordash you a 12 pack of your choice for celebrating your new bike.

Be prepared for a full rebuild. Ive seen the check engine light on in videos. Lol

Yes, search that hash tag.

Leighton is my god daughter with a disease called Batten disease. She wasn't supposed to make it past 7, and she just turned 11. Teal and pink are the Batten colors, thus the seat cover.

Been watching it since a month after it was stolen (along with my 21 works edition, but it disappeared again pretty quick, likely in philly). I followed all the bike life pages on insta and their hashtags. Didn't take long to pop up. I know their addresses, where there kids go to school, where baby mamas work. Hell, I told popo exactly where the yam sat for months, but no one cared. I could go on, but to put it lightly, i was talked off the edge. Lots of irrational thoughts but I have a family, so theyre lucky I choose to be a contributing member of society. Lol

Fully insured, which helped me off the ledge. I was hunting hard the first week or two day and night. About the time insurance paid, I got my first sighting. It was the works edition being wheelied in hubbard ohio, about 45 minutes away. Couple days later, the yam showed up with no stickers but they left the easy to spot parts you see in the pic. I still wonder if they realize the left footpeg is bent forward as I ate crap in Daytona and its about 1 inch forward, which i could also see in the pics lol. I almost mailed them the replacement I had bought that they failed to take. It was hanging in a bag from the peg lol..

If I were out 24k, you could bet your bottom dollar this would look different. No one wouldve talked me off the ledge at that point.

These days  im still insured, bikes stored with no wheels if im not going to be close to home, and I have a real GPS tracker burried in the bike.

Johnny, I had much better ideas. Like, throwing a 45/70 round through the cases. However, i could just imagine getting caught somehow, catching a felony, and then id be as illegal as them because I like my guns.

I view is as a healthy reminder to stay ready for things you didnt think possible. The first 6 months I was a little wild with it. Now, it's sort of just entertainment. However, when I see an opening to create an inconvenience with minimal noninvasive effort, I still will. Lol

Hopefully your insurance made this less painful to deal with.   You are a better man than me, good on you 👍

May this cat find the dirt (hard) and end up with 10K in medical bills without insurance to make it 'an even trade'.

That just pisses me off. “When we not working on bikes we spying on mf.”

Yeah, working on bikes, probably doing everything in the book wrong, and stealing peoples hard worked for shit. They probably have some stupid business name they go by and don’t work a job of course. Sit around, smoking weed, overcharging a friend in the hood to change their oil.

Fuck those people. I truly wish the worst for them.

Allstate was great to deal with. It helped my adjuster was an old D5 PA racer and knew all about my bikes.

Last year in miami the dude who typically rides it did infact eat shit. Blew his shoe off and got some road rash. He was then seen riding a quad the rest of the time lol.

These guys are youngstown ohio guys. The "shop" they have is called the bike spot or kay speed shop.. The cops know these goons and im pretty sure theyre friends. The detective told me hes been in there multiple times but they get off because the owner douche, (who was driving the TRX with my bike in the bed in my first pic) tells police that he has no control over whats in there because he only rents out work spaces for renters to store and work on stuff.

Ive never trolled them because if they get heat, stuff disappears. I think they got cop buddies because after i talked to the detective, everything got quiet for a couple weeks. It was like a light switch lol.

My favorite reels they post are the ones with stolen stuff with the captions that say something like "this is what you get for working hard".. Like bro, you're riding a 10k dirt bike you either stole or gave a crack head a grand for. I cant tie these guys to being on my property as somehow they skated by th cams in place, but i believe they couldve used that drone to see the coast was clear.  All they do is sell dope on their instagrams. Pens, flower, blow, all of it openly posted on social media. Cops do not care.

Replacement peg in the mail would be funny, along with pictures of their kids and pictures of the grade school they go to.  For grins make them think they stole something from the Cartel or mob boss.  I wouldn't do anything drastic but I would have to screw with them to some extent but not get in any trouble.  Maybe call up utility company and have water and electricity cut off!

I'd fuck with them to some extent.

Yeah, that temptation is still there.

I have been reluctant to put too much info out there, till now anyway because im pretty over it if they do make it disappear. All it takes is one of them skimming stuff and happen to come across vital, then my enjoyment gig is up. Lol

I had a similar situation.

Decided to let it go.  I realized unless I was going to eliminate them, they know where I live and could easily retaliate, putting my family at risk.  Wasn't worth looking over my shoulder for the rest of my life.

Unless you're willing to out crazy them-  It's a gamble though, don't know what they'd do, a dull knife is more dangerous than a sharp one.

Thats sort of why I havent tormented too much. IF they are indeed the group that actually did it, they know where im at.

Coming near my family again will resurface a level of crazy ive tucked away and I can say for certain they dont want that to happen. You'd be readin about me for sure and if you ever do, send a bro some commissary money... Lol
