Kyle Partridge update

I was told he had a crash at Perris Raceway last week but I did not know it was so serious. 

Hoping Kyle can fight thru this…..

No spinal cord injury is great news!  Sending best wishes to him and his family, hope he can make a full recovery.

I did the when they first announced that and haven't been able to bring myself back here until just now. I'm still trying to think positive thoughts for him, but damn...

My buddy was there and said “ Ya it was crazy! He went over the bars off a table that boots you. I know he wasn’t breathing on his own when the ambulance took off.  I was scared to ride the rest of the night. It sucks seeing that shit.”

this is just heartbreaking for Kyle and his family. 

Sometimes you question things, the reason why, and how it could happen. Awful for Kyle doing what he loved, and a long recovery to a much different life.  Things can change in a blink of an eye. Terrible

I realized around age 35 the body simply doesn’t heal the same.  I don’t know how some of these guys do it, former PRO or not.  Even the mini Goat RV2 said he could NOT do a lap on a Supercross track these days.  He said it would be double double double everything!  That’s how fast you lose the timing he said.  I personally love free riding, going to the desert, or even trail riding.  I have absolutely ZERO desire to hop on a bike and jump big doubles.  My buddy raced at Glen Helen recently, just for fun race, and ended up going over the bars from a downed rider that crashed in front of him, also costing him missing 3 days of work.  

This really sucks and makes me think of that rider a couple years ago that had a horrific injury at the same track.  

My thoughts are with Kyle and the Partridge family and hoping the best.
