A lot of riders don’t like him either. I asked a current 250 guy why and was told “because he’s a dick.” This was about a year ago.
I’ve never had any personal experience with him but I’m not racing against him and have never been around him, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

Never met the guy but I’ve never heard anything good about him. Apparently a dick on and off the track. He looked great in Q1 today though.
It’s gotta be the absence of the headset. He really has great things to say and share and speaks much more fluently without the pressure of people being in his ear. I feel for the guy and sincerely hope he doesn’t let all the shit talkers bother him. I think we are lucky to have a guy like him whenever we can get him.

With lap times this short it’s insane how much faster he is than Davies, especially considering how fast Davies is going through the whoops.
Eli was so smooth on the KTM he almost looked like prime Dungey. Can't even tell how fast he's going until you look at. the lap times.
