Awesomeness!  Not a motorhome in sight.  No custom graphics.  Track that has NEVER been prepped.  Just a bunch of riders that show up to have a great day at the races.

Bring all that back...

But let's keep the modern bikes, transponders, and easy ups. Safety gear too, keep the better gear.

Does anyone at the local track really want to deal with transponders? Seems like such a pain.

Filmed local to me.

Think it was 1982, one of the tracks,Long Buckby, Northants UK ,  was used by my club up until last year.

You can find it easy on Google Maps .

All local Amateur stuff.  Good times.

All those tracks are  within 45 mins of where i live, but we didnt race on them, as we ran in a different District back then.

There was a similar movie made back in the early 70's that I had watched as a kid but never could remember the name or find it. Believe it was filmed in UK. Was really good.

This scene was integral to the stories plot.

Watched this video so many times, it's great. A perfect snapshot of club racing back then - I miss it so much. Just cheap & cheerful, and gnarly natural tracks.

There was a UK series about motorbiking in general called "Sorry mate, I didn't see you" ( the classic phrase over here when mown down by a car..😄) and they had an episode following a day at a club race. There was a guy with his leg wedged between the wheel and a swinging arm after crashing. Might be this one:

sorry mate I didnt see you Reading AMCA
