I can listen to JT talk for hours. He's great at what he does. What an explanation.
Yeah noticing a pattern here with riders and Kawasaki not getting along. Reed just did a podcast with twitch and mentioned similar gripes with he and kawi butting heads and wanting out of his contract
The only good thing to come out of this is the debut shoot in Hawaii. Been a steep downfall ever since.
Much love for the muscle hamster

Nobody said you needed to switch accounts but just wondered why you in fact do.JRingo is probably right that you just forget which account you're logged in on. seemingly every week you post under one and then the other, easy to forget huh mike?
I think it’s time to push pause on the criticism, let the guy heal.
If he’s not on the track, there’s mostly nothing new to talk about. Maybe Kawi is feeling some panic, I don’t know, but he’s got a long way to go on this contract, there’s more than enough time to get a stable setup and do a bunch of winning.
Anyone remember Chase getting Ken to try and help diagnose “issues” with the FC bike? Dude has been out to lunch for the better part of a decade
I also remember all his wins and titles in his whole career as one of the best to do it lol.
You dramatized that and have some things wrong. Kawi said they didn’t have budget for a 5th guy. Mitch said that’s fine I’ll pay him. Kawi said okay we found the budget and paid him like the other 4 are paid(not from pc). Marchbanks was signed for 250 when factory Kawi went after him as Mitch said he thought it was a good idea. Can’t believe you get up votes for spewing crap.
Soo is Chase gonna be back for Indy?
How did I dramatize any of that?
Kawi didn’t have the “budget” for Garrett and he was the guy that wasn’t going to be re-signed until Mitch said f that, the kid did good and deserves another year so I’ll pay him. Kawi told Mitch who to hire with their budget and Garrett wasn’t on that list until Mitch stepped up. And then after Mitch steps up, Kawi offers the 450 ride to McAdoo and he declines and then offers to Garrett. If Kawis telling Mitch they don’t have the budget for a 5th rider, they’re pretty much saying don’t sign him no?
Everything you typed out is pretty much what I said lol
Theres been a common denominator in Chases corner throughout the struggles since 250 days.
CHASE needs to send his dad to the stands.
DAD STAY AWAY FROM THE TRUCK.
PEOPLE KNOW HE'S AN ISSUE SUPRISED IT HASN'T BEEN BOUGHT UP YET.
Do fans even care? Sport is moving on.
I do. He's one of the fastest/talented dudes out there.
I'm a fan. It's just hard to be fan (lol).
I know for a fact(unless you think Garrett and Mitch are lying) corporate Kawasaki didn’t tell Mitch not to sign Garrett they simply said they didn’t have the budget for 5 guys. You worded it to look like they were anti Garrett. You said Mitch signed Garrett, which is obviously true, but left off the very important fact that corp Kawasaki told Mitch they would go ahead and pay his salary too(on the 250 at the time). So you made my point. You said things that were close to truth but not fully true either back lack of knowledge of the situation or intentionally, thus…..dramatic.
Swamp interview Garrett goes into great detail. Unless of course you don’t believe him.
Kawi saying that they don’t have the budget is the same thing as saying not to re-sign him imo. They ended up finding the budget right? So they could’ve before Mitch said he would pay. Garrett would’ve been searching for another ride if Mitch didn’t step up in the first place. I found it funny that after Kawi said that they didn’t have the budget for Garrett, that it was Garrett who ended up on the other factory kawi next to Chase.
My point was Kawi didn’t have the budget and were willing to let Garrett go until Mitch stepped up and now he’s the one who helped kawi instead of them searching for another rider to put on that bike next to Chase.
his dad has not been near as involved this year. He is only there on race day....Chase spent over month in cali & keir flew home to Florida between races, leaving chase to test & tune with the team. That's been resulting in his worst finishes ever?
How's the math work when the common denominator is gone & the results are the worst ever?
Pit Row
They didn’t tell him to not sign Garrett. They said no because it wasn’t in their budget. But they eventually came around and paid his salary.
Not sure i its true but the word at the track is...
Chase sent Jason a fruit basket with a note that said, "Thanks for taking the heat off me" 🙃
Ok my bad Kawi didn’t say no don’t sign him instead they said we don’t have the budget so we can’t sign him lol same shit
I’m not trying to convince you of my thinking but tell your wife you don’t want to do something and then you can’t afford to do something and see if those means something different to her.
The dad is at the races. He was heard recently going off at management. These changes are made race day.
Trust me the math works
And then in the end I have the money and we do it anyways. So why tell her we can’t because we don’t have the money?
Sometimes things change. Hell maybe kawi thought it would be a bad look for them to let Mitch pay.
Matthes even made comment when chase signed on Pulp before the races even started. Please stay away from the races and team. As he gets in chases head and is a negative voice constantly.
I'm looking forward to the progress that Marchbanks will make. He was good at Daytona but that ain't a real supercross track, but if he can do the same in the next rounds, Chase is the problem. Because in the interview from @LewisPhillips with Broc Tickle you literally hear that Broc is still working intensive together with Marchbanks. On the other side you've Sexton, who fled to the other coast and is pretty ignorant, deaf, stubborn about Tickle' his ideas and suggestions. Brings in Chiz to test his Kawasaki...
Don't know for sure but I guess it was Joel Smets who once said: "Your fastest set-up isn't always your most comfortable set-up" and he also said: "You just need to adapt yourself to the material you get". He knew what he was talking about. He raced with fast, high CC, blunt power bikes who nobody was ever comfortable on!
tldr, but what did STAR do with the 450? Crank and hybrid forks. Why didn't Yamaha do that? They were stuck in a box. Some of it political, some of it likely because the old guard are set in their ways. Part of getting older is developing judgment based on past experience. Unfortunately that also means you don't challenge your beliefs based on ever changing conditions. Maybe what didn't work before will now because of new tire technology etc etc. So Kawasaki may have some of that going on, and possibly they are behind on data acquisition too. Clearly KTM was quick to setup a new bike for ET and Prado. Star did well for everyone but DF14. As much as I take jabs at my friends riding green, I don't think the bike is incapable, I just think it's taking Kawasaki too long to figure it out. Having Prado looking for a unicorn and now Chase doesn't help matters.
The unicorn won't be found in the same bag of tricks they always used. Chase needs to concede and work to the bike strengths as much as Kawasaki needs to capitalize on Chase's strengths.
One of Lewis and Steve interviews at MXDN and ex racer and team manager for Husky (not sure what country) . Said riders today want it to be perfect for cornering, perfect for rough parts of the track and perfect for smooth parts etc etc . And basically said it is not possible you have to sacrifice something.
I do want to put a pretty big asterisk on Marchbanks Daytona. First, like you say Daytona is the outlier track of the season. It's completely different. Secondly, the 450 class was thin at Daytona and will still be on the thinner side in the future. There are quite a few riders out by now that automatically should put Marchbanks in around 10th no matter how he rides.
But sure, it was a step forward. I would just not yet claim that this result is proof that Kawasaki has figured things out.
