Amazing, Chad Reed had his worst season last year, the first SX series he has never completed, and people a writing him off once again. Every year he has been up the pointy end of the field, and he's done it against RC and James and still people think he has to prove himself. Amazing.

That's what I say. They are idiots. If Chad is on it on that Honda, he will be a serious threat for the title. I hope he wins just to prove these idiots wrong.

How is not putting him in our pre-season top 3 writing him off? That's what I don't get about Reed fans. You say anything other than the guys going to dominate and we've somehow written him off. There comes a time in every SX/MX stars career where one bad year turns into two bad years which leads to retirement. The only racer I can think of who that didn't happen with was RC and they don't call him the goat for nothing. There's a dozen reasons why I think last year was the start of that for CR. I'm not a hater nor have I ever been a huge fan of CR ( his attitude always rubbed me wrong) but I would give my left nut to have accomplished 1% of what he has. That being said I felt the same way after 2008 and 2009 was one the most fun seasons to watch because he came out on fire and SMTFU.

For the record my only real hopes for this SX season is that we have multiple winners and RV can make it through healthy. There's nothing I enjoy ,as a fan, more than watching RV2 on a MX track and for 2 years I've gone without.

I'm done arguing my opinion about my top 3 and can't wait for Saturday. My 7-9 Division Champ Seahawks have a home playoff game, I may be going to, and then I get to come home and watch round one of the SX season live.

Then Monday ---Go Ducks!!!

My take on it......

I think it is to early to write someone like Reed off. He has proven that he can run really close to Stewart in speed , and "most" of the time , he stays really consistent.

I think it's also more like a top 5 we have here , with Stewart , Reed , RV , RD and TC. I think we are also all speculating on who may be faster right now , and consistency is going to be a major key to winning this year.

As far as that goes.......i like all 5 of those guys I mentioned above....but I would rather see KW set the world on fire than any of them. I know it's a long shot....but still my favorite every season.

Either way.....I hope they all stay healthy and we have some great races!

Sorry Dan...SEC is too good. I watched Cam Newton destroy my Georgia Dawgs, while it was a down year for UGA and the SEC East in general, Cam Newton found ways to win. The kid's a winner just like Tebow. While Im rooting against the SEC in the national championship for the first time in a while, Newton is too good.

He has the ability to be CRAZY in the NFL if he works hard at it, Mike VIck good but 6 inches taller.

Back to moto...I hope Reed does good. I want Dungey to win the title, but want Reed to at least win a few races to show he still has "it".

Windham has beat ricky before on small and big bikes straight up missisippi style!

Ricky was like a god the few that beat him straight up get much respect. Reed can win but if James plays it smart he will be tuff to beat. My money is on JS7

edit: i dont think poto is slow by any means. my point all along was that he hasnt done as well as he was expected to so far but keeps getting hyped as a top dog. he is talented but needs to put it all together
