They are already...there is 2025 GG 450s on cycle trader for $6400. Its the same price as the RMZ. Every other japanese bike is more (except maybe kawi when you factor in the rebate deals but that also has a timing aspect to it).

Its just a weird spot pricewise the gas gas brand is at. They are cheaper than the other two austrian bikes but the quality is also significantly less than those two brands. The only GG I see "worth" buying new is a factory edition. If you are going to buy an austrian, spend the extra $ and get a husky or a KTM that comes with better parts and looks 100x better. The "stock" GG with silver bars, clamps, forks, wheels is probably the ugliest dirt bike produced in 20 years.

Its an affordable version of the austrian bikes but also not really when you factor in wheels, clamps, getting rid of the shit brake system, etc

The gg silver and red looks very nice to a lot of us especially those who grew up in the 80s/90s when silver rims were popular. Every bike on the market doesn't need to be black/grey/white/red plastic with black rims. If you wanted a red bike with black wheels and different fork leg anodizing then there are Hondas, Betas, Starks, and Ducatis to look at.

I grew up racing in the 80's/90's and I think silver rims look cheap on modern bikes which is why PMG put them on the GGs - to further differentiate the GGs from their premium offerings. Most of those silver rims are swapped out immediately.

People started using orange(ktm) and black rims in the late 90s because silver rims were on everything. They wanted to stand out. Now 99% of dirt bikes have black rims and some of us still want to stand out. I put purple rims, black hubs, teal plastic and purple Renthals on my KTM 250sx and had silver rims and blue hubs on my KX250 smoker. I never followed any crowd and am not about to start now

Agree the price needs to drop, as you can get a Honda CRF450 for 9699 MSRP and the 26 GG450 is 10.8k.

Sure, they are cheaper than the KTM and Husky equivalent but still not on par with some japanese bikes.

Dealer wise, only know of one that actually sells them within a reasonable drive.

KTM ended production at the Girona factory that builds the Trials bikes and there are no 2026 models.

Good point, it will be interesting to see if there are any 2027 trials.

The Gas Gas trials line I would see remaining in PMG.  Maybe rebranded as KTM.

This was my thought too. Sell the name rights to Rieju. It would be like having the old gasgas back again.
