I haven’t blocked anyone. How do you change the settings?

I think its a bug. I've seen stuff blocked that I never blocked , went into the settings and it didn't show anybody was blocked. Then the next day it was back to normal and nobody was blocked.  Sometimes all I do is delete my temp files and log back in and its fixed. But I don't know if that did anything or just happened to be fixed after logging back in.  

So If You have not blocked anybody, there's nothing You need to do to unblock anybody.  

Would be nice to know if there is a way to stop it . But for me it comes and goes and its random. Sometimes my own posts show that I blocked them. But its always  goes back to unblocked .

Agreed.   I’ve got a few folks blocked but it is very inconsistent in how it works.  Sometimes I see their posts, other times not. Can’t find a rhyme/reason to it. 🤷🏼‍♂️.   I wish it worked correctly all the time but if not just get rid of it altogether.  

There is a setting to block and unblock people. But there seems to be a bug that's doing it randomly for some people.  I've had my own stuff blocked from me. And that's not possible to do with the settings they offer.

If You intentionally want to block somebody . On a phone You  can tap their image and it brings up a screen similar to the screenshot I'll attach.  Or on a computer hover over the image and this pops up.  If You have the person blocked the BLOCK tab will say UNBLOCK and you can unblock them by clicking on it.  

If the user wasn't blocked by You , and it was what seems to be a bug with the site, it will not work to unblock them. It has fixed itself for me the few times I've seen it happen. Normally by the next day or in a few hours.

I've never seen myself blocked, but have had friends that I've known for years blocked... temporarily. 

I block all you pervy bitches,, always sending me requests for dick pics and the like.

I didn't know there was even an option to do that. Knowing that now, I don't think I'd use it anyway. I amuses me to much seeing posts from people that I think so little of, that will still try to engage me knowing I won't respond.

I always assumed the posts and topics that come up as blocked were due to ratio of down votes?

the 'blocked by you' was just a result of how the code was written.  not necessarily meaning you blocked them.

Now I see what you guys are talking about. So their "post" is not "blocked" only the content of what they attach?

Yup, I get that too. But as soon as you click the button to expose it, all the attached content on the page shows.

This is separate from blocking users. The blocked content in your screenshot is a YouTube video. We're required by law to have a "cookie consent" tool. If you refuse advertising cookies, embedded content from YouTube, Instagram, etc. is also blocked due to their policies.

Ive just checked mine. Noone blocked, so I guess im good.

I some how blocked myself a couple of days. It was probably for my own good 😀

One feature that i have finally put to use this morning is the  "Stop notifications" button. No more getting notified that the same 4 people are continuing to just absolutely flog, troll and rage bait a topic to death. 😑

We just implemented a fix for this blocking issue. Please let me know if you're still seeing it.

Doesn't work.  I've currently got one person blocked, but I still see his posts.
