I can’t wait for opening, if is $65 so be it. The extra $25 II will spend on gas anyway going to Cahuilla or Pala.

In this current climate they're more likely to ban them all together

Does she have anything to do with drunk idiots driving them through the pits at warp speed?

Cal. Is a expensive state in Ontario trk parking is some odd rate of 44 or 48 .  3 rides a week 195 ouch .  Vs the best deep sand ride park in America with 700 acres 3 tracks including the kid track . Trails threw the hills & woods for bike, quad , side by sides.  10 bucks we’d, Thur, Fri- sun 20.  A lot of 20 bucks for private tracks .  Sat, sun races usually hv Fri practice 35 I think it’s too high but the tracks hv cool prizes 1,800 e-bike or other stuff in Wi.  But we can only ride June to sept .

That’s a great point.  The location of Elsinore is prime from anywhere in SoCal.  Orange County residents can take the Ortega.

Mini bikes were there today and looked pretty busy. It’s back.

I went to their ride day last Saturday, and asked Jason Baker if they were considering having any discounts for seniors or for fire and police, or if they may have some type of monthly pass etc, and he said they were looking at those very things but they have not decided on anything yet.

I also asked about when they will open the other tracks and he told me they are opening the Main next which will be in around 2 months because they still have to put a chain link fence around the entire thing.

I always thought that it would make more sense to sell memberships to tracks. I know some do season passes, but that would enable them to get a decent chunk of money up front and give the riders a small discount. It would also self select for a better tier of rider I would think.

$65 is fine with me also.  Bummer they are opening the vet track(s) last.

First I was told it was going to be condos or apartmnts, then I was told it was going to be office buildings, but the signs on the fencing surrounding it are from a housing builder. I may know more in a few days.

There are no current plans for one but they certainly have the room for it.

That comment makes no sense to me.

I only know what Jason told me, and what the City told me, and what Pat Fowler and all the other patners and workers that ran the track previously told me, and what I have personally seen, and what I have read from reliable sources.

Within a few days, I will find out from the City, or the people building the project next to the track, exactly what that project is.

I was also told that if it was residental housing, they would have to move the vet track, which would then be located on the far side of the flat track, and if it was business buildings, they would leave it where it is, and the fact that Elsinore recently put up light poles around the vet track, suggests to me that it will be business buildings, but I don't see how any of that is relevant to anyone since Elsinore has the abiliy to relocate the vet track if need be, but this particular info did not come from anyone currently involved with the track.

Roger's,

Thank you for the info. I was incredibly bummed out to see that construction site next to the track on my way to Pala yesterday. I really hope it isn't houses, but I guess we'll have to see. Please post in here when you have more info.  If it is houses, why would the city let those be built and approve the track going in at the same time?

Don't worry, I'm sure Rich Taylor will be right around the corner looking to shut it down with his hand out again....

Did they put poles up on the vet track or was that the other vet track that had poles?

Both the Vet (supposedly Novice) and the IV track have telephone poles for future lighting now.

Sure thing!

I think the information for that prohect is in the Citys meetings notes somewhere, and they can be found here:
