Last news out there was that he was riding a Yamaha 450. Nobody knows what he’s doing. 

I wouldn’t think he’s in for SD.  He was at Pala today on Supercross ripping the shit out of a Yamaha 450 until atleast noon. 

A2 at the earliest. More than likely Houston. 

He's built a practice SX track in Waco with some of his friends...

He has like 3 full Sx tracks at their property in Texas. I ride there on occasion.

Is he coming off an injury or surgery? Is it just taking a while to get his program together? 

He is in great shape and completely healthy. Just getting the bike dialed in for Supercross.

I think he’s hoping he gets the call from Star for another fill in. 

He's starting to make the SX thing click. You can see it when he rides. Even last year before he crashed out of the race on PC, he did really well in the heat race and qualifying. The year before that he made 4-5 450 mains. I really think he's not there to just make the main. The question is, what does he need to do/get to impress Star another factory team that may need someone to line up for east coast?

I don’t get the blacked out look. So you’re telling me he bought everything at msrp? Kinda a shit thing to do if people are helping you out. Maybe they are just doing it on their own? I don’t know they have a strange program that’s for sure but the kid has talent.
