The collateral baggage with alternative sexuality, lifestyles, and cultures has not been constructive whatsoever but very much destructive. As with nearly everything, the rejection of traditional (or even biblical) roles and functions has not produced the secular utopia that everyone imagines.
I don't hate anyone or even dislike people because that is personal. However, on a corporate/culture-wide level, many people feel this way and "vote no" (so to speak) for these reasons.
