Also notice that while the victim is laying on the ground, already shot, not moving, and now unarmed, one officer just continues firing into him.

first video was shot from inside a building, second one is from just up the street. No angle on the struggle but you can definitely hear the gunshots as the agents back away.
Also, in the first video, you can clearly see one of the agents repeatedly hitting the guy in the face with something that looks like a pistol or a can of pepper spray.

Manny, a carry permit doesn’t create some automatic “relinquish your firearm on demand” rule. Not in MN, not in CA, not federally. Being legally armed doesn’t mean you’re legally required to hand your gun over just because an agent asks, and nothing factual (yet) from the MN incident establishes that scenario anyway.

Unfortunately the real question is what happened between the videos that have been posted. The lady in the pink coat from the first video appeared to be filming from the far side. That’s the angle that should show the whole truth.

The confidence that both sides already have as to what happened isn't supported by any of the videos but it doesn't even matter if it was, people are going to believe what they want to believe.

This is murder, straight up. Shot in the back, all he tried to do was block the pepper spray, which wasn't even needed in the first place.
Wow, so messed up. I had heard there was another shooting but had not heard how it happened. I was hoping that they would be taking extra caution and trying to cool things down. Perhaps carrying less lethal weapons like many local PD also carry. Seems like a tazer could have been used in most of the shooting I've heard about. Keep in mind they do have tasers that shoot out little darts so You do not need to be on top of the person.
I see a lot of people talk about Obama deport record amounts of people. One thing that I'm not sure if it has been pointed out yet. Obama's ICE budget for both terms was more than 4 times LESS than the ICE budget for 2026 ( as long as google provided legit info). Think about that. roughly 16B for Obama's 8 years and $90B for 2026. A lot of those funds are going to hiring new agents and there has been proof that they are not training everybody as much as they should. They were using AI to filter out applicants that were already law enforcement VS no experience. New to law enforcement get an 8 week course, current LE get a 4 week. But the AI software was sending people that had used the word officer in their resumes to the LE trainings even if they had not LE experience. Some that said they aspired to police officers. and other people who used the word officer in their resume that were not experienced in law enforcement. There has been other reports of issues with training and vetting the new agents.
So the likelihood of new agents being out there with little training in a high stress situation is VERY high. it sounds like its pretty reckless to me .
In Maine there was a press conference after a prison guard was taken into custody by ICE that was doing everything legally to become a US citizen according to the officer who spoke. They also said that ICE has been taking people and leaving their vehicles on the sides of the street for the local PD to deal with. Leaving them sometimes running with the windows down, sometimes just the keys in the ignition, etc. But its happened enough they talked about it in the press conference. Seems very minor compared to the current situation out in MN though. I won't attach any links since it may derail the current conversation. I came to post some of what I posted before I knew about the new shooting. I was just walking out of my house when there was a live video of the shooting that popped up on Youtube so I knew that something happened, but no details.
Taser pretty worthless with thick winter clothes. Pepper spray used before the shooting didn't help.

Don't you think that's a problem? The right to protest is one of the big things that is what separates the US from other countries. Having to fear for your life when You are exercising a constitutional right is NOT making America great. I remember being a kid watching the protests in china and seeing people killed. And teachers saying " this would NEVER happen in the US! ".
Many people will say Obama deported many more and there wasn't any protesting or pushback. Maybe try going back and doing it he way they did back then. If ICE was acting the way they are now, under Obama. You would have heard about it. There would be videos and photos. There were people around that time starting the Defund the police movement. I'm sure that if ICE wa acting in a similar way that there would be some proof. Perhaps that's the main change and the issue that most people have. Sure You'll get some who are just mad because its Trump. But that's not what a lot of people are doing. They are made because of how things are being done.
The use of fear and violence seems like part of the plan. Using it as part of the plan to try and prevent new people from coming here. Kinda sad that there are real people being used like this.

I spoke to my coworker in Minneapolis yesterday about this. Regular folk are going out to protest. Not him, he’s conservative as hell. But he admitted the town is up in arms over this shit.
I thought for sure she would have been tossed in the back of an ICE rig and had her phone “disappeared”.
Why did they even need to shoot the guy this time? I wonder how long it will be before an agent gets shot by another agent. They seem to often take shots with other agents in the line of fire.
I fully support the right to protest but it's mostly done for the sake of virtue signaling these days. It turns far more people against your cause than it gains you support and you can guarantee that at least some percentage of people there will make it their goal to create chaos. So you're not going to achieve the goals you're after, and there's a not small chance you'll get yourself hurt. In my book that means only an idiot participates.
This isn't a partisan issue for me. I feel the same way about protesting for right wing causes.
The funny thing is if there were ever reason for the masses to truly protest in some principled way, the masses participating would instantly shut down the fringe elements who are only there to turn it into a circus. If the group was serious about the issue they'd never tolerate the nonsense. But that's never what we see.
