Catanzaro said the same thing - Cam went for a triple when he shouldn't have. If he'd doubled we'd not be having this conversation. McAdoo does has a history of questionable decision making during a race. It is the 250 class and there's a lot of that out there.

Also, go watch Burkeen's POV vid from BRay. There is zero room for error on these tracks. Every decision you make has a consequence. Look at Mookie - he made the decision he thought best, and in a split second it turned out to be wrong. Not his fault, not Barcia's.

I call this one on McAdoo. And no, I am definitely not a Deegan fanboy. Talent, yes, but many gaps in the rest of his character.

I can't get with this take, even if we don't think Deegan intentionally cross jumped him. Cam had a wide open freeway in front of him until a Blue torpedo hit him from the far right side of the track.

I do think Cam does make some questionable choices on the track but this wasn’t one of them. Cam was going to pass, he was going to be on the inside during the next turn. Haiden moved over on him mid rhythm section to take away the line and ended up taking out his front wheel in the air. Agree to disagree.

Exactly...
And.
People trying to say that Deegs was committed, spun sideways a bit and couldn't back off, not enough time, had to stay committed...
Okay fine.
But, Cam was supposed to be able to back off...?

AJ is just taking sides with the name that he feels would benefit him the most....

In practice, AJ's argument would require all riders would have to check up on jumps if there is anybody anywhere in front of them, regardless of their relative positions on the track. Nobody actually wants to race in or watch a race like that.

Cam said no apology or any message from Haiden since getting cross jumped.

I lost hope in him being a decent human years ago. Its sad because I was a fan at one time

What if all he says and does on camera is a show and for entertainment, but off camera he’s a decent human?

Like going into Pro Circuit's pits and screaming at Seth Hammaker's mom? I mean, maybe he was just playing heel purely for the entertainment factor, but that is, at very least, admirable commitment to the bit.

I can see it now. Deegan apologizes, you, Dirty Points, unclepdiddy69, and Farmer J all say that the apology wasn't sincere and he was just doing it for the cameras.

Laughing at Forkner when he landed on the concrete and saying, “welcome to the danger zone” after Austin was carted off the track?

If you’ve ever been around anyone in that camp, you know that is who they are. It’s not an act.

That's unclepdiddy69 making shit up.  It was Haiden's first win and on the podium he said, Welcome to the Danger Zone, which was not referencing Forkner at all. In a post-race interview, Deegan said, "I mean, obviously you hate to see what happens to Austin [Forkner]. It's sad, man. You wanted to have a good battle for this season and it just shows you how dangerous this sport is. It’s ruthless."

Nah, I don't care if he apologizes, and don't even think he should.
On the other hand, the "he just acts like a douche for the cameras" line of thinking doesn't seem to hold up particularly well, either.

Maybe 19 years (give or take) of nepotism, shit parenting and never hearing the word no was what got into him that day?
