Looking for HRC (or replica) rear brake clevis/nut

Hi,

I'm looking for a rear brake clevis and flange nut. Can be orginal or replica like the one Corne (Vintagehonda.nl) made a couple years ago, i dont mind.

If some know where i could source some of those famous flange nut, i would like a couple of them...

It looks like an aluminum flange nut. figure out your thread size and pitch and then google "aluminum flange nut".

Spd doesnt have clevises listed on his website, will try sending him a DM in case. Will reach out to Bonamigo, I hadn't thought of them.

I think Corne had a few of the newer style left. Bonamigo has also with a dark blue lock nut, but believe it or not, that teal colored lock nut is the hardest thing to find. Stevie has made some of teal nuts, but the color differs from batch to batch.

It is incredible that such a small simple part is so hard to find even in non-moto specific hardware

Stevie Denton told me he is out of them, but he's planning a new batch soon. And yeah, the nuts he has are dark.

Bonamigo got what I'm looking for as far as clevis, I will still get some of Stevie when they're done.

I don’t think the nut is the most important part, it’s the clevis they are after.

I emailed corne and they said the MOQ is 50pcs. But I’m poor so I can’t afford it. I mean if they are 45 a piece but now with tariffs idk how much it would cost me even at let’s say I needed to buy just 10 I’m assuming it would be expensive.

I’ll look again I might have a few left, but probably without the pin. Which is pretty easy to make.

Il ended up buying some from Giuseppe Bonamigo in Italia. He seems to have many available for purchase. I asked him if he had multiple and he said "as many as you want". Came with the pin and blue flange nut

I buy a lot of stuff overseas and just bought another small piece from Giuseppe. He makes great stuff. Shipping was $52. Then, for the first time in my life, UPS contacts me demanding another $56 on top of that before they will deliver for acting as the "import broker". I never heard of such a thing for a small item, but it relates, not to the new tariffs, but to other new import rules that the trump administration just made silently. Previously, anything costing less than $800 had no issues, but now something even cost once cent that comes from overseas is going to burn you bad. Totally ridiculous.

I had multiple issues with the tariffs and the cost of things! It’s really crazy.

Yup, this is not just inflation, we know the money being intentionally siphoned out of our pockets like we have never seen before.

A friend bought a chest pro from a European vendor for about $175.  It arrived with an additional $90 "fee/tariff" charge.

Not sure who gets the $$, but I damn sure know who's paying it.

Great stuff.

Beautiful works replica clevis, BTW.

I received it from Bonamigo, mine looks way more gold on camera than in person but is a little more than yours. Oh well the piece still looks fantastic! I'm wondering if I can get HRC style rear axle blocks for a 2023 crf250r from him in the same color as well?IMG 0755 1IMG 0756 1

I missed a couple replies in this thread...

Yeah, brokeage fee, import fee and taxes are a bitch... It's been coming for us, Canadian, for quite some time. I get  extra fee from everything that comes from the US. It's been worse since Trump (2016) administration and now tarif, I've slowed down on my purchase from the US.... Before that, maybe half the time I had tax and duty, now, pretty much all the time. Half the time with international stuff. Always a coin flip. Didn't get any with Giuseppe parts.

I got very lucky last month, I bought a $1300 on mxlocker, I was sure and ready to be hit with a bill. Value was declared and everything and I didn't get anything to pay. Maybe because it was a used part?

When buying online, the transporter often dictate if I buy from a store or the other. I've come to know who are the cheapest.

UPS are the absolute worse. They have a ton of fee on top of taxes, fees are a % of value.

FedEx, use to be as bad as UPS. Last two package by FedEx from the US got pass to Canada Post once the border was crossed. $9,95 fixed fee + taxes

DHL, good for international, fees are or use to be fixed price. They're my second favorite

USPS/Canada Post/ any national service, I prefer them, cheapest by far, $9,95 fixed fee no matter the value or size + taxes

If a company ship with UPS, I won't buy from them.

Always the option to ask the seller to declare a smaller value for the item.......... Can't always do it when commercial

Moto squid, if you ask I'm about the axle block, let me know, is like to get some too. I asked I'm about other parts when ordering my clevis, he had genuine HRC shift lever and brake pedal for the newer bike.

I asked about the axle block and it was a replica but still looked cool plus a ti shim and aluminum nut, although I didn’t ask if he had anymore so you might have to ask but he does have some.

Sorry I haven’t responded quickly to your question I just got a new bike and trying to coordinate my friends bachelor party 😂.
