With the little bit of info in the teaser posts, and not having visited the link. It sounds like some sort of video series that follows the privateers. With some high end quality production , it could do what the OP is claiming.
A Netflix F1 style thing following moto. For so long people have been trying to grow MX by making it like other sports. Personally I love MX because its not like other sports. And a quality documentary that highlights the aspects of the sport that we all know and love, would be the way I would try growing the sport.
Look at how much Pulp has helped showcase some of the racers with wild personalities that were hidden by the riders lack of results. That and fantasy MX have helped a lot of on the bubble racers be able to make a living and chase their dreams. The fantasy MX puts more focus on the entire pack and really helped the back of the pack riders be able to build up more of a following as people learn about them.
Think of a longform series of videos that follows some of the personalities of moto and shows the world what we all love about MX. That could do a lot for the Pro side of racing as a fans sport. It may also help grow the riding side of the sport too, but I think that growing the viewership of the Pro series and showing what mto is really about could help get some tracks made for Surron style bikes in parks and other areas like there have been skate parks and BMX tracks made. A better public perception of the sport could help make stuff like that less of a fantasy.
Seeing the family aspect of moto and showcasing that part. Showing that real motocrossers are NOT the wheelie boys that ride recklessly through the streets. I think that doing something showing local level racing would help with public perception too. Showcasing the deep family aspects of the local race scene.
That's what I'm hoping this thread is teasing. Sorry for the rant slash daydreaming. Carry on trashing the OP.
So you're saying Slowie films is going to be unbanned? That's a wild speculation based on the lack of information presented here.

Curious what a ngpc team is bringing to the sport that hasn’t been done already? And at sun fair? Why? Lol
"IDGAF What you guys say!! But have the reaction I want from my poorly thought out marketing plan or I'll get annoyed!!"
I took the little bit of info ( Growing the sport, major, featuring privateers, entertaining ,new people exposed to the sport) and speculated about what I may describe in those ways , that would be worth teasing and not just coming out and saying what it was.
I am likely totally wrong, but that's what I get from the info provided in this thread by the OP, without clicking his links.
Could I click the link? of course. But what fun would that be?
I don't think that Slowies style showcases what I love about the sport. I have only watched a couple of his vides and did not enjoy them so I am not really familiar with a lot of his work.
NGPC Worcs Baja mx sx I think?
OK, I watched the link and lost my hope of something truly groundbreaking and sport growing on the levels I was expecting.
I do wish them good luck with the track/team/rider/ whatever the announcement is. I'm a wee bit distracted today. I had a power outage the other day that killed a HD on one of my printers and I've been putting my backup PC together and installing software all day.
So perhaps I missed something in the video. If nothing else , they are creating some hype around whatever it is they are going to announce.I think it is a little lacking for details and may set them up to disappoint some people when they make the announcement.
Almost like if Triumph's teaser was just a bunch of B roll and didn't even show the single part of the bike. Or showed the entire bike but You couldn't tell since it wasn't clear they were putting out a new bike.
I would downvote my posts too, I'm still hopeful that somebody skilled can get the backing needed to pull off a high caliber moto documentary style film someday. I really feel like it would have to be a series and I think that it could work on something like Youtube since it could get into a larger random audience than a streaming service or network/cable channel would.
Get the great outdoors guys back together and have them do an hour video for each round.
So… I wouldn’t hear about it until it was officially announced, is that what you mean by “after the fact?” I really don’t see that as being a big problem. I don’t get why you’re upset, either.
^^^This is a fair generalization of the message board here. If it was a better vibe, guys like DV would post more.
Okay, back to the Big Announcement: I'm not joking when I say hopefully Vince Friese is a coach/mentor.
???????
Yeah, what he said...
He meant in 2027
I guess there was no major announcement today….
Pit Row
It’s a reality show on YouTube where 16 riders get a chance to earn a single spot on the SLR Honda team. I feel like I remember seeing something like this somewhat recently, with Ryno maybe? OP overhyped it just a liiiiitle bit.
EDIT: me and Mav are energetically aligned 😂
I remember a reality type show on YouTube with the IB Corp Team years ago. IIRC, they had riders and one of them could earn a salaried ride.
Something like that.
Edit:
Videos no longer on YouTube.

The link you shared was an instagram to a video we all watched….
You should find a way to be a little more factual and less attention seeking tool.
Cool but it doesnt 'change motocross'.
Sweet that they’re giving a rider an opportunity but this has already been attempted with the IB Corp Yamaha team and it didn’t change anything except everyone’s perception of Ryno who imho was the highlight of the series, not the riders who made it onto the team.
Pretty sure all the riders that were on that team or tried out for it aren’t racing professionally anymore.
If memory serves me correctly, Michael Lieb was the fastest guy on the team.
Ironically enough, Cole Martinez (another rider that was on the IB Corp team) ended up at SLR Honda and rode for them for 5 years before they parted ways in 2024.
Anywho, here’s some photos of the team:
*Bonus photo of Ryno looking like Mr. Clean in that crew cut when he was with the team before he took acid, grew out his hair and became more “zen”
Official Rider Application & Evaluation Form
Sections 4 refers to costing per 1 days evaluation and Section 5 refers to additional evaluation days.
My questions....how much is one days evaluation and is there a limit on any additional evaluation days?
After the final 16 are chosen, will these dudes then be paying to ride each time until a winner of the ride is anounced?
Just curious???
Swap video said $300 application fee gets you the 1 day evaluation. Sounds like an audition basically. I'm assuming fees are covered for filming if you're chosen? Guy is wearing a monster hat so maybe they're involved somehow? The whole idea still seems pretty early in planning stages.
I'll give a few $ towards profeshenal's application fee if others will chip in too.
Heck, boo koo or one of the teams did this 25 years ago or more.

Honestly I don’t see how a series like this will ever work out for SX/MX because anyone who can qualify can already show up and race and the main event regulars are already on some sort of team/program. When’s the last time we saw a guy who had decent results but couldn’t find a team to ride for or make it to the next round?
The idea is sound but it’s only going to end up with guys who struggle to make a regional SX night show and that’s why the viewership isn’t/won’t be great.
Michael Hicks last year?
