Done and it was pretty heavy for the 3 of us to get it up on the truck and color is fairly close and looks good too. Happy with my new to me $900 truck cap!

His tool box had several moto stickers on it and he used to ride not race locally.

How are you liking that Colorado, I had an 04 that felt pretty cramped on the inside but these newer ones seem a little more roomy

Loving it and bought it because its 4 down towable.

Can't help but notice "Canyon Star front engine diesel".  So is it f550 based like a Super C?  That's neat

That sounds like a beefy usable rig.

Its a 2022 Newmar Freightliner Cummins 3927 Front End Diesel or know as FRED that Newmar started making in 2021

I was skeptical of getting a diesel but with the big truck frame and drivetrain its Amazing to drive! 9-10 MPG

The motor is down below the floor so can barely hear it driving down the road. Access hatch is about 2 inches tall.

yeah, I was a little loose with my description. When we last toured RVs at a big show in early 2000s we checked out multiple Class A & C layouts and the floor bump was minimal. We ended up with a Class C based on Ford E450 cutaway van, because my wife thought the Class A was more like driving a bus and scared her. Served us well for 90k miles and we still have it.

Just park next to it and slide from one truck to the other, they aren’t that heavy

A couple of 2x4s work great to slide across. And if you have bed rail caps you’ll want to get some thicker foam for across the front of bed to match the height.

I googled Leer and Snugtop and in the description they both mention camper shells so I thought Hah! this settles it, Then you go to their websites and they call them truck caps. Now I don't want one,

$900 is a great price! What brand is it? I just ordered a Leer for my 2026 Canyon and it was 5G’s 😳

And to think a legit seller was letting one go at $500 🤔
